CITY WHISPERS - ASOS SHORT SELLERS REDUCE.

Asos is gearing up to release first-half results, which it has already warned are likely to show a loss.

But one set of players in the City appears to think the fast fashion retailer's fortunes are looking up.

ALL five big short-sellers targeting Asos, who would make money if the company's share price fell, have reduced their positions in recent weeks, indicating they think its stock might rise.

and then where.....can you see this going up again and if so when? The crime doesn't seem to befit the punishment for this shares massive decline in price.....any thoughts anyone? or is staying with this one flogging the dead dead horse?

Over 8% shares have been shorted so share down for one thing. When they need buy it bach in near term it should come back . just wait after Christmas trade up date to see how it perform.

Wednesday will be a key date for recovery potential, however..........can see this falling to below 500p in the short term.

Obviously, high risk but at under £8m, they have a good chance to multi-bag if trading updates are supportive. Bankers clearly still have faith. Strategy to close stores and focus on online seems sound. Hoping for big rise today when the market wakes up to the recovery potential :-)
