Shaftesbury Capital Share Price (SHC)

I fail to understand why the share price continues to languish in the range of £1.30, despite growing profits and a higher dividend, the three share brokers tips for this year average at about £1.70 which would seem a fairer reflection of the true share value. Blackrock and the Norwegian Wealth Fund are major investors, you cannot get a better recommendation than that.

I’m not a professional investor and I may have got this wrong but it looks like Blackrock is building a large stake in the company. I posted some time ago that the Norwegians were interested in this company and lo and behold they acquired a large stake, I was aware that a US property company were interested in acquiring Covent Garden, it wasn’t Blackrock, interesting times ahead.

Anyone seen their dividend today ?

Norges bank currently already own just over 25% and now effectively increased ownership with there Covent Garden stake.Dont see them wanting to make bid anytime but they have been willing buyers on London property investment elsewhere so there basically betting on good long term returns .

Norges bank very happy to buy in at net asset value but Mr market thinks we should be at a huge discount.Just goes to show willing buyers for quality asset
