Rockhopper Exploration Plc Share Price (RKH.GB.PL)

Cant see a dividend being paid till oil is flowing which could be several years away, I have doubled my money and have been tempted to sell up but in the back of my mind I have a thought that this share could motor steadily upwards if good news arrives over any development plan to get into production but who knows!

Are there any views on what a potential dividend might look like. I have a modest holding since DES days and have added here and there over the years. I'm no trader and have just held in an ISA and added throughout the ups and downs as spare cash became available. Just a fingers crossed and keep the faith stratergy of a common punter.

At some point i'll want to see my return. (Ave arround 30p) so its only been relatively recently has my ISA account gone into the green for the first time.

If i was to hold and not be tempted to get my money back at some short term milestone, is there any way of guessing what a dividend per share might look like?

Translation posted on here earlier of Navitas' Q3 comments on Sea Lion are same as I get. More exciting each time a quarter elapses and their '24 FID target just remains unchanged even though we're getting close.

Interesting that the FI Press Release was issued at 16.31 hrs today - a minute after the London Stock Exchange closed. Looks to me that FCDO (who were represented at the subject FI/Navitas meetings) were involved in this timing?

My reading is that the concern is more about what the board does with the money when they do get it. The money could gradually disappear in salaries while nothing much else is achieved or they might sell the debt for half its face value if they're desperate for cash
