Who knows? Am thinking that I3e maybe about to acquire some assets at rock bottom price as surely the longer they wait to spend that loan money the cheaper their target should be
Yes a painful lesson that you will learn from but best put it down to experience. Good Luck to you
Only Section A and B members which closed in 1987 will get that CPI equivalent rate , from 1987 to 2019 its Section C members who receive annual RPI rate but capped at 5% . From 2019 BT offloaded to Standard Life for new staff from that date.
Dont know whether it's been mentioned but this is the last month that BT will pay an extra 2% of employees wage into BTRSS pension as a sweetener for changing their pension in 2018 to Standard life administrated pension , an extra 1% was added if employees paid 8% or more of their own wages so there will be a 3% reduction for many staff starting in July . On a average wage of around 34K this represents a saving to BT of around 1K per annum on their contributions to the Pension.
Let's see what happens tomorrow No fear? Luckily am in at average of 52p after buying at 67p and doubled down at 37p so the worst that can happen is me losing me 1 bagger ! I will be watching closely this week to see what develops but am expecting a steady climb but what do I know?
I would have liked to have seen a stated time period for 26 k barrels equivalent as touching that figure for 1 day maybe enough to trigger his option ,output needs to be sustained for longer period before earning any bonus but in event of Takeover i guess it wont matter.
Dont know whether it has been posted already but Openreach have now provided fibre upto 10 Million premises with a 29% take up while some Altnets are on just 6% take up from their networks so sounds promising for the future .
Is a pound a share on the near Horizon?
Stock brokers are more bent than bankers and will accommodate major players at the expense of everybody else by forcing price down until they get their fill , it's not great seeing profit disappear but the Yield is very good for me so not as much disappointment as could be so no pressure for me to sell. Gas/ Oil prices are a concern but managment have done a good job over the last 2 years and generally when has a SP ever gone up without getting a knock back every now and again so let's see if that's the end of the steady decline.
12 monthly Dividend payments this year as stated in RNS , barring a mini disaster on oil/gas prices all SHs will get paid out.
It would be odd not to get conflicting posts on any board so it is what it is , i3e for a junior oiler on the Aim market has done very well to pay any kind of dividend nevermind what it is paying after basically less than 2 years of production which they are managing to increase on an annual basis. Personally this year I decided to take all my Dividends and I had 3 good holidays covered by them so that's a real bonus so no complaints from me .All the best and GL to all holders here.
Yes it's never wise to be over optimistic with forecasts and I hope they learn from it. Its still a disappointing SP overall but the Dividend Yield is a no brainer for me and I expect it to rise further so I will stick around and wait for for the output growth in 2023 to see where it takes us . I have learnt to be patient with I3s .GLA
May affect large companies such as BP but i3e have no income yet from the NS and assuming Serenity well is proved commercial then we are possibly 2 years away from any revenue and Britain may be in desperate need of self sufficiency by then.
Will i3e be interested in any of the 100 new Licences to be issued in the NS ? Truss is now opening the floodgates in the NS and on land with Fracking and I think i3e will be well placed especially if they are able to prove up Serenity, current SHs should consider themselves lucky to be in at an important point in time when Government policy has changed for the positive. GLA.
I suspect that only a successful result in NS this month will move the SP significantly , granted the Dividend is a real bonus and personally iam doing really well out of that but I have always feared a low ball offer and this current SP before 2023 increased output revenues will do us no favours in that department as why TO offer at 60p+ when high 30s may do .
El Steve , I would be happier with a couple of 00s in there some where!
The number of companies with employee share schemes has reached a record high despite dwindling enthusiasm by retail investors to trade in stocks and shares.
There are now over 16,000 share schemes registered in the UK, a jump of almost 1,000 on 2021 according to data from HMRC, as listed firms turn to the tax-advantaged schemes to incentivise employees as an alternative to cash bonuses and pay rises. An Evening Standard news article today which begs the question why did BT stop their Scheme last year after 35 years or so ? Said they cant afford to offer it to the staff anymore!!
No reason why not as should get RNS confirming bumper profits soon .GLA.
THG on my watch list for last 6 months and Limit order I put in 2 weeks ago triggered at 67p this morning so I will sit and wait now for a recovery over the next few years with possible takeover chat to turbo charge in the short term to make it more interesting. GLA.
Tony the problem is that the SP is often forced down miraculously in the weeks before a Lowball offer arrives on the table , hopefully in the coming months we will get good updates from Canada operations and a good Drill result in NS which will take SP to decent level before any Take over shenanigans begin ! GL all.
