GGG , ta for Divi estimate. Much obliged.
Anybody got a good idea of what Div payouts will be in July and September? Also iam guessing most holders here may reinvest while SP low so more buying pressure.
OR should be spun off by giving 1 OR share for every BT share owned then the Stock Market can find the value of the 2 entities separately, this happened with O2 around twenty years ago . BT keep EE inhouse so they still have good revenues and OR would power on giving its Share holders a good return especially when Fibre build is near to completion. Iam sure that's what the Frenchies will push for.
This is better PR getting the positive message out , they have completed some good deals in Canada and deserve credit for that . The potential here is so far not reflected in the SP and I hope we can avoid a Low Ball offer of a takeover while we are in this phase as long suffering SH need to see decent returns on investment here.
Yes they talk some Bull over a Farm Out to keep people interested, I would be surprised and happy to hear anything concrete within the next year. It's on the backburner for the foreseeable while they concentrate on Canadian assets which seem to be coming along nicely.
For anybody who is interested in how it enables Divi payout and Share buybacks check out Trinity Oil /gas RNS today which explains the process and gives a good time line for the legal progress as I3E going down the same road very soon hopefully.
Doomed ?? I hope not as I brought in on Friday and more today! Sit and wait it out now.
Nice rise today but over the last few weeks its struggling to power on to the 20p + region .
On 23 April 2021, the Group announced the proposed sale of First Student and First Transit. In that announcement, the Group stated that £345m in cash would be retained for the discharge of certain liabilities, including for the rail termination sums in respect of SWR and TPE. At the time of the announcement the Group made an assumption as to the TPE termination fee based on the best knowledge then available and the status of discussions with the DfT. The final agreement now reached with the DfT is c.£50m better than that assumption. The Board has committed to keep the balance sheet position of the Group under review, and in addition to the proposed return of value to shareholders described in the sale announcement and the shareholder circular published yesterday, the Board will consider the potential for making further additional distributions to shareholders in due course.
Possibly more cash coming back to SH as well as Special Div?
Looks like £5 plus well before Xmas which I was hoping for so happy with that . Turned out to be my best investment from around 20 Stocks I brought into last April and all being well I think we can look forward to Divi being reinstated and further increases in SP . GLA.
Maybe some profit taking this coming week but hopefully after that we will see rerate . BOD will have a good idea within next 3 months how business is going in shops and hopefully good figures will push SP to well over £5 plus in run up to Xmas.
Yes very tempting for the traders amongst us after todays fantastic rise but iam going to hang on till Xmas as I hope this is the start of a rerate to £5 plus .GL all who remain.
Looks like BOD trying to get partner in for BT Sport which would be helpful, I would like to see Pension Trustees take a sizable stake in Openreach so they can put the deficit to bed . The Final salary part is being split from the newer SL administrated Pension and employees may be able to take payments more flexibly from one pot or the other but details are not fully disclosed yet. I think the BOD are beginning to earn their wages and hopefully the SP over the next few years will reflect this.
Yes it's a very nice drive that , done it a few times in a car with the family and twice on a bike with the lads on Route 66 trip. Very flat with mountains in the background. Hopefully a decent profit on these within 2-3 years and I can go and watch the Masters Golf at their expense. GL all.
Yes am guessing we are all looking forward to collecting a nice Divvy , that's a real bonus for a small company like i3e after being in production for 6 months.
Being a holder of i3e and Jog stock iam beginning to wonder if they use carrier pigeons on a quarterly basis to negotiate terms for a Farm -out ! , more likely the Big hitters of the Oil world Repsol for example can wait till the vendor is dead and buried and then take advantage at Fire Sale rates . Luckily i3e are now a producer in Canada so farm out in NS may be kicked down the road a while longer.
Future sharesaves are to be stopped from this summer but existing plans will be allowed to mature, a Bonus payment is a lot cheaper than paying annual wage increase which also puts extra cash in to Pension over time.
It appears to be a 5 year period of (easier soft financial Firbe regulation) whereas a possible 20 year period was being mentioned with the possibility of something in between of maybe 10-12 years so just getting 5 years from April 21 seems disappointing .
Yes mate I agree and hopefully the BOD will look at it.
Oh dear I thought it was the same as Tax year!! Explains why I was chilled over Divi announcement.
