British American Tobacco PLC03 February 2006 DIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDING Further to the announcement dated 27 January 2006 (the "Announcement")concerning the purchase of ordinary shares of 25p each in British AmericanTobacco p.l.c. (the "Shares") by executive directors and other personsdischarging managerial responsibility by way of the Partnership Share Scheme, areporting error by the Plan Administrators was made in the number of Sharespurchased by two executive directors such that their total beneficial interestswere incorrectly stated in the Announcement.
