Well, it's plumbed new depths, of late, by dipping to £13. Frankly, it would be astonishing if inflows and FUM hadn't modestly risen, given BM paid up to £45 million to buy an adviser firm last year... is that the plan, then? spend £45 million every couple of years to bolt-on some FUM for the investment management business?! not sure the economics stack up, really. full year results will be crunch time... could go to £16, could go to £11.

It looks like there were one off restructuring costs affecting profitability, but inflows and funds under management are edging up. Perennial take over target. Suggested fair value a shade under £20 a share. I’m sure institutions. , especially Gresham who have a large stake will be pushing for a buy out. Obviously not going to get back to £30 anytime soon. Fund nagger xx have generally been clobbered the last few years but Brooks are pretty mainstream, generally well diversified in low risk with income. Not going to set the world on fire

15 million shares only. 90% owned by institutions. 6% dividend . Likely to be bought out at some stage. Large director purchases earlier this year. Improved revenue and inflow. If Pi keep selling down their 10 % the share price will drift. But for income it’s a great yield at over 6% now . Strong balanced portfolio. Will check asset backing but would expect it’s pretty strong too

I actually don't understand how it's possible to run a wealth management business in 2026, offering portfolio-based investment solutions during likely the MOST SUSTAINED BULL MARKET IN DECADES, but still end up with a share price that is close to a decade-long low?! So , for that reason, I'm not convinced management is "improved". Rather, it looks like the team who grew this business from a few bill AUM to its current size are all gone and the replacements seem to have scant experience of upscaling, growing, or turning a business around.

Best guess is that the current share price represents fair value, unfortunately, noting the drift towards poorer quality of earnings (lower margin products; "new" revenue driven by buying bolt-ons more than from true "organic" growth). I assume this is the reason that there appears to have been no PE interest, despite the share price being at these levels for months and months.

I guess it depends where you are on the entry scale. Dividend of 6 percent is hard to resist. Gresham seems to have hung on through thick and thin waiting for a takeover. I only returned recently believing that the shares are on the the oversold side, with a great dividend, improved inflows, hopefully improved management. There is a lot of mid priced shares out there. Potentially this is one of them and will get noticed as a buy out op or simply by the SP rerating. Gl
