Holding the line in a softer US promotional products market. Trading in the first four months was in line with Board expectations, with Group revenue consistent with the comparable period in 2025. Order intake fell c.2%, with existing customer orders flat and new customer orders down c.7%, although year-on-year trends improved as the period progressed. Average order value rose c.2% on carefully considered pricing. Tariff-related supplier cost increases in early 2026 have been manageable but gross margins are running slightly below FY25. The marketing mix continues to provide flexibility to adapt to market conditions. Half-year results due 5 August 2026. IN-LINE

Results due 11th March??

Trading statement ahead of expectations... Aaaand shares go sideways/down.

Why? Cause analysts are still expecting this year to be a lot worse than last. Despite FOUR performing very strongly and proving them wrong a number of times over the last 6m already...

Strong hold for me. Think they will continue to deliver. And the worse they do short term the better they will do long term. Cause their competitors will suffer more and they will gain share.

Interesting trading pattern here this morning, possibly also reflecting the evolving wider market sentiment.

Tbh I don't think we could have realistically expected a better update this morning given the backdrop, and considering the shares have retreated 28% since the years highs last January, I feel this has scope to recover running into the Finals on 11th March - good luck to all holders !

Exceptional company, think this has a long way to run. From 2019 to 2023 they increased their market share from 3.3% to 5.1% - think the current industry back drop will only help them to continue to grow share. The biggest and the best in the market - still has a long run way of market share and growth to go for. Expect them to return to strong growth when the market backdrop improves, which may not be for another 6-12m.

Excellent cash conversion of 95-100%, ROCE of 90%+ ie very capital light, strong balance sheet with no debt, good divi, excellent track record. And now its on a cheap rating. Wish I bought more earlier this year. Happy to tuck this away for the long term.
