Tax should not be withheld on dividends now.

Is the 15% tax still taken from the dividend now that it has move to Jersey

This goes ex dividend tomorrow. Expect a fall in share price followed by a glacial recovery. The fact is though it will recover as the right levers are being pulled....

I took a huge loss on this a couple of days ago and sold my holding purchased at around 290p. I hope anyone staying for the longer term and needing to recoup paper losses will do well, but the whole Uk economy looks like it's going under to me. The only place for the government to get any wealth is continued additional record taxation increases, there is nothing else, no growing economy, nada, zilch, debt rollover is increasing the interest rate bill to eye watering levels in itself, and we are continually importing liabilities to draw on the state expenditure bill from other countries.

How can B&M or anyone else prosper with all this? It almost feels like most businesses are just in survival mode, being hit with one additional cost increase after another and this looks set to continue indefinitely to me.

Of course anyone since December shorting is down no two ways about it , These are the people that were betting on it going bust , but it’s not going bust !
