3i Infrastructure Share Price (3IN)

I was looking at this when it was on 20% premium and it held up well. Reality eventually kicked in and it fell to a discount and I bought.

It's full size purchase ie long term.

Unlike the majority of the stock market it's a buy and forget or at least the closest equivalent.

My view buy now, interest rates will fall and that will be an extra tail wind.

4% dividend and 6% yearly increase is about as good as it gets for a low risk long term hold.

NAV is 374 and yield is 4.2%, so a decent discount, and an acceptable yield that is covered x1.6 and therefore sustainable. It is on my watch list. I cannot see interest rates shifting much in the short term.

Wonder if any long term holders are hoping for a breakout if BOE rates reduce in the UK. is this a buying/DCA opportunity? This company know what they are doing, seem like they are in 3i’s shadows and alternative infrastructure trust SPs have risen higher since October 2021…I hope there is significant upside but wondered what everyone’s thoughts were?

Came 2nd by a whisker this year to HICL in the infra awards. I am fine with that. Lots ofpotential and thesemanagers know what they are doing. So far held for 15 years and no reason to do otherwise!
