Pod Point Share Price (PODP)

2 confirmed bids in 2 days Kozz! Though I only had shares in Ricardo (which I will lose 50p a share on!!) but not here as I sold some time ago. However I continued to follow the company in case it turned a corner.

In my experience it is always far easier to be logical about investment decisions when sitting on the sidelines!

With EDF backing the company itself will survive and quite possibly prosper ,but that is scant consolation for the early investors following the IPO.

And here shows the risk of investing in start ups - great concept, good products, awful financial management.

Will do great need EDF just hope those who drove down the SP aren’t rewarded!

Pleased the bid has finally occurred and shareholders have recovered at least some of the money they put into it. GLA.

What's going to happen on 12th June? A bid, another delay, or padlock the front door?

Without a bid the company is, in my opinion, dead. Who will buy the product knowing that they are surviving daily hand to mouth?

EDF is a fantastic opportunity for survival simply because for them 12 million or so is loose change, and they can fund whatever is needed to keep the doors open which should reassure customers.

If this bid fails and retains its listing this is surely not investable. Have the question whether the flotation was just a ploy for the founders to get something out of this?

EDF have to buy it or without another significant investor it will collapse within 12 months. It’s out of money. This subscription service is interesting, but would you enter into a credit agreement like a lease (credit check on file etc) and lock yourself into Pod Point and their flex service, where you’d never own the charger anyway. What do they do if you want a charger that works with intelligent Octopus or OVO charge anytime? Rip it off your wall? You never own the charger as far as I can see.

Just buy an OCPP charger that’s compatible with all the energy providers and stick it on your credit card. Ohme, Nexblue, Cord, all pumping out cheaper and more capable chargers.
