I've topped up, was a little in profit until today,. I think the investigation is unlikely to impact long term and analyst are still bullish.

I am hacked off a fidelity though, since they made my trade at 814, when real time was below 800 and with tiny spread.

Guess we will see where this goes but I suspect a mild recovery this week after the panic has settled.

I don't get it either, I'm nursing a loss and have topped up to near £10K now with expectation that I'll make 20% and at least break even. I know there are regulatory risks, but believe these are low as the deal is all but done otherwise. The biggest risk I see is around Wood's debt pile and the regulatory approval of a sale with this, that said it's small and even if this falls through with rates falling and inflation knocking I'll stay long for more.

T/Os are never 100% guaranteed, although unlikely anything may happen, regulators jump in, some other curve ball thrown in. Wood have not shown themselves to be squealy clean. And then there's the wait. Right now markets are shaky and many are moving to cash/gold (based on what the papers say) nice to have a percentage of cash for opportunities. I'll hold for the uplift or at least wait until it's closer to the 30p offer price.

I imagine much of the volume (buys) now is Sidara jumping in for the discount before the final takeover. I think of this more like a bond now, no interest/dividends for us now but at least there's 30% premium for waiting.

Doubled down at 10.7 - Hoping this will be a big recovery play in the long run. Had a few good years before.

After 3+ years in this with some early profits turned to losses, I've decided to cut my losses and sell on the recent rise. Seen this yoyo too many times, and think another cash raise is due. I wish other holders and speculators well, but this one isn't for me anymore.

So woods market cap is stated as £126.77m, This disposal is £110m, I’m sure the rest of the group is worth more than 17m..,,

In my humble experience, most people at Director / BOD Level are loyal to what will pay / benefit them the most.

At this level, any potential buyer who is genuinely interested in buying Wood will already have done rough valuations to have some expectation on price range and worth. More importantly an estimate of integration costs and future value (to said buyer!). That range may start pretty wide, but be refined when a real offer is about to be put on the table.

Just how much will the Long Term and Private Investors be shafted. 30p may still be testing the waters yet Wood board are likely to recommend it... And I bet a few will be incentivised to do that too!

Sold 1/2 my holdings last week for a pretty healthy profit, didn't expect this though. Happy with Div, and the uptick in profit, but not the income. Will look at any fresh director buys and what the Analysts estimate, but think it's still good for 150-160 before another top cut.

Seems undervalued. In at 95p for 10-20% + divs. Let’s see.

Agree with everything stated here, however I decided to buy now for a long hold. I think once there either a trade agreement, or a reconfiguration of BNZL's supply chain we will see a sharp recovery. Any cost increases will be passed on as competitors all face the same issues, and goods are very much seen as essential. This will also likely push up revenue in the long term. I don't like the debt but sense the drop has gone too far and believe BNZL is significantly undervalued.
