Rupans - I really hope you’re right and this deal is real and works. I won’t quite believe it until I see it tbh, given all the hot and cold we’ve had so far! Either way, Saga will be just fine in the long run.

Deal done ... looking forward to travel stocks and saga getting a good jump.

I think we should freeze the bets going forward ;-) in light of this market changing news. I think it looks good for my prediction now

If a deal is finally signed and the Strait of Hormuz reopens, that combined with share buying before the AGM and a good trading update, will hopefully lead to a much higher share price. I have been cautious with my prediction of £6.10, but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to at least £6.40-£6.50. The share price should be north of £7 within 12 months in any case, with plenty more to come in the next 4-5 years. In hindsight, I wish I had bought in the 75p range about 6 years ago, at the height of the gloom, but at least I took the plunge at £1.19 onwards, and it's worked out nicely for me. GLA, especially the long-term holders.
