Whitbread Share Price (WTB)

Does anyone have any idea how Premier Inn may be benefiting from all the adverse publicity at Travelodge around safety for women? We must be picking up increased trade from women travelling on their own?

Surprised at the number of shorts out on this company . I hope they are wrong ?

Given the well highlighted undervalue at Whitbread it shouldn't be long before we receive our own takeover bid

Just booked another short break with Premier Inns and actually took some time to trawl and scroll down through the website. They do have sporadic hotels throughout the Miðle East, mainly close to airports, so just correcting my previous posts and hopefully with any peace deal the share price recovers back to where it was prior.

Whereas the likes of IAG, Hilton and Marriott all have hotels directly located in the Gulf, Whitbread has NONE. The UK, Germany and Guernsey only.

So when the drones and missiles started hitting Dubai and the Crowne Plaza and Burj al Arab hotels and targeted Cyprus and two missiles were intercepted over Turkey in the early days, the full leisure and hospitality sector took a hit.About 400p was the hit for Whitbread and the graph shows that. But Why if no direct exposure?

So do I go abroad this summer or stay at home. No flight cancellations, no

possibility of amalgamated flights and changed flight times and no fuel surcharges. No 3 or 4 hour additional EU EES, Entry and Exit system delays.

So Whitbread might actually indirectly benefit from staycations and citi breaks, particularly near the coast and tourist hotspots like London, Edinburgh, York, the Cotswolds, Lake and Peak districts, Brighton, Great Yarmouth, Scarborough, Blackpool etc etc. Kids eat for free don't forget.
