Mr. P
I know you're good guy making valuable contribution in our discussions here. But your excessive optimism and lack of criticism negating all your efforts. Well, is it normal for the CEO to talk non-stop about the huge support from the government and at the same time be unable to solve many most important tasks of the company, and even more so to regulate relations with local authorities. If there real support he would have to arrange just one call to the local municipality so that there would be no more problems. I am well aware of the practice of relations between business and government in Russia, which is not much different from the same practice in Mongolia. And if this CEO cannot solve even such a simple task, then he is lying. And if he lies in one thing, then he lies in many other ways, which is confirmed by the fact that he managed to achieve very little from what about he has endlessly chatted. He failed to find not only farm-in partner, but even a drilling contractor, which is a shame for the CEO because it leads to the loss of another year of invaluable time. But what else you can expect from such CEO who is traveling instead of sit in main office and fulfil his direct duties.
Manro
Not sure whats happened. You used to be very positive and upbeat and cheerful and so was Hamm back in 2017 when we had a good run up in price. By the way we had NO oil discovery back then. That strong rise came on strong momentum with the Massive potential of billions of barrels of Oil in vastly underexplored Mongolia. Oil is still there. Massive upside from Block V is still there with a proven active petroleum system.
I do share the frustration that MATD need to report progress in mini steps and NOT wait for an all singing and dancing one Operational update. They should simply report on whichever bit is done so we can focus on whats to come. That is PR / Marketing skill NOT many CEOs have.
Anyway, we now have Heron oil discovery which progressive analysts have valued at circa $250m base case (risk adjusted). NO DEBT. Low number of shares, etc. So MATD is pretty much de-risked with limited downside but Unlimited Upside.
We are all adults and mature enough to decipher various components of the official RNS and corporate interviews etc. MATD have jumped over various loops over past 2 years in respect of different permits etc. Central Govt knows what to do to get things over the line. Mongolian oil industry is still evolving with updated framework and Governance being put in place during this important transition. Keep the faith if you done your research.
This should come good. ATB
People lose money on AIM by either
Investing in total gambles like wildcat drilling for a resource (MATD has the oil, so not us)
or
Investing in decent companies at the wrong time (MATD is at a price where the oil is not priced in and hopefully it close to production, so again not us)
or
Investing in companies with no substance that exist to fund lifestyle CEOs. … … time will tell if that is MATD but I wouldn’t be invested if I thought that was the case here.
Wait and see what happens over the next couple of months. GLA
I am getting slightly more hopeful, only slightly, but every bit helps. Not enough to put any more skin in anyway not for the moment. The reasoning and i grant it maybe floored is assuming that any price sensitive information has to be imparted to shareholders whether good or bad means (to me) that this FB news of revocation of licenses is a storm in a tea cup. The company have know of our concerns on this from various people on this BB emailing in and have had no replies. This either means that it completely inaccurate or maybe completely accurate but running around like wild chickens desperately trying to sort it out but that would need to be RNSd i would have thought. So as we have heard absolutely nothing i am hoping with each passing day it was a storm in a tea cup, but still needs to be watched ,my experience, is that these little things can blow into something big unless monitored. I would suggest, if they have not already done so, get a Mongolian PR company on board. GLA just waiting news but could with something soon.
As I understand for the many here AIM its just a casino where you have to be prepared to lose of your money. And there is no crooks amongst the CEO and MOB who can steal your money. Really?
Okay now its finally clear for me why more then 95% of investors and specially on AIM's are losers. Because you are prepared to lose your money guys even to crooks with no complains. And this pretty sad remanding me situation with the sheeps unable to resist shearing or slaughter.
Ostraliamate,
I can bet you that have more shares than you and invested being sure that there was oil in Mongolia, especially at Heron which would be found. But, I never thought that afterwards they would lead investors around their nose and force to wait for shearing or slaughter.
And the fact that I'm right is confirmed by how quickly the paid troll FA reacted to my post trying to convince all of you that everything is going fine. And he done it despite has posted recently would take a brake. But how he can rest if needed to convince you that there is robbery planed. In contrary enriched you and given the same opportunity to live and travel luxuriously as his loafer-owner.
Manro I remember you from years ago. You got spiked every time you bought. No wonder you have lost money here. It’s not MB’s fault you have lost money. Time to grow a pair and admit it’s your own investment decisions that have caused you to loose money.
Talk of taking MB to court is ridiculous. I’m embarrassed for you every time you bring it up. Move on .....
Quite right Ostraliamate.
They're like children on this board screaming
" Are we nearly there yet?" every couple of days.
Dad response :- "Its coming soon so hold it in and stop wetting your pants "
I think we need an RNS with significant news pronto. If there is no news to give then I have a bad feeling that PIs may well get stiffed (again).
Manro, give it a rest mate.
Honestly, it's bordering on slanderous .
Please sell you 500 shares and go invest elsewhere. This is a risk reward play. If you don't want in then you are welcome to sell and move on to greener pastures.
I have every confidence in Mike and his team to deliver a very good outcome for the shareholders and if good news takes a few more weeks then so be it. He has outlined the timeline very clearly and is still on that schedule.
We will produce oil this year from at least one, possibly 6 wells and the share price will be a lot.higher than 4p.
Keep positive and buy the drops. It's going to be an amazing journey from explorer to producer and Mike will deliver what he said he will, as he has done all along.
Cheers
I'm sure we were all expecting PM to be doing the work over by now..
Sorry.... But have I missed something here !!!
Every time I login to this B.B to have a read of what's going on with M.A.T.D ..all I read is moaning and complaining about the Company...its price is up over 30% in the past 8 months, there is no "BAD NEWS" THERE IS IN FACT "NO NEWS"
We are investing in a startup exploration Company ( not B.P or Shell) .
When you invest in the A.I.M you should expect at worst to loose all your investment and I am sure all on this B.B must know this....
So why are there posts attacking M.A.T.D ...IF YOU ARE HONESTLY INVESTED IN M.A.T.D? then you must have known the very.. very.. very high risk investment that YOU entered into.
Nobody made anybody invest in this company and if you cannot handle the ups and downs of this share then maybe you should invest in B.P or Shell.
Hi Manro,
In answer to your question, I’m afraid I cannot get involved.
I knew the risks in investing in Matd, and I still believe in Mike and this company, I occasionally vent my frustration like many others, but I’m here now for the long haul.
I’ve Accumulated 4.2M shares now, and keep adding!
I’ve had my chances to sell up and leave, but I want to see it through.
You was always so positive in the earlier days, I know a lot has happened to change that, but it would be great if you was back on board.
Hopefully Matd will come good soon with that RNS we are all awaiting on.
If we are in this same position next year, I will hold my hands up and say you was right.
Good luck Manro
Hamm, badprophet, Horsers, master82, Jimi, Donkee and all other honest and critical investors - isn't time for all of us to accept that this company was most likely created for a scam. And that is exactly what was doing every leadership composition. Including the last one lead by this chatter-box who was hailed as a high-caliber in order to save the company's reputation, avoid bankruptcy and continue to rob gullible investors. And who constantly feeds us tales of the company's bright future, while he himself is chic with our money right now and today.
And if so, wouldn't it be better for us not to fight with windmills here but arrange a meeting somewhere in London and discuss what we could do and not only put an end to this robbery, but demand compensation for our losses if no drill this year too? Who is agree please respond and make an offer.
Master: You may be letting your nerves read a negative into the situation, keep in mind there was a lot of stuff on the table in terms of the DQE deal: geo-technical input, drilling, stimulation, and completion services, production operations and oil export. . also potential payment (or partial payment in oil). No doubt block V would need to be discussed a well... such a deal would take time to negotiate and then review the written T&Cs... probably some back and forth and lawyers reviews needed...
I can't believe these advanced negotiations have been going on for months and we still are not any wiser..
MB needs to let thearjet know.qhats going on because it's not looking brilliant at the moment with no sign of any development
... or even a photo of some tumbleweed :/
Thanks guys for your response, trying to find info on an important part of the jigsaw and Mongolia drives me nuts..
Even listened to Mike Bucks presentation again, and he suggests it will be ready in 2024.
Waiting for news and being patient is not my thing, once we have news on JV and operations the happier I will be.
Most of us here, have waited years.
Just wished they could be more pro active, hardly ever see anything on twitter now?
A picture of a velociraptor will do!

I'm sure u read an article that ot will be ready end of 2022
I thought it was 2024 but wouldn't be surprised if it's later.
Does anyone have an update on the completion of the refinery?
All I can come up with is this..
https://www.mongoliaweekly.org/amp/india-pressures-mongolia-to-complete-oil-pipeline-on-time
We need to get these other wells drilled so they have feed stock.
The way things are going, the refinery will be completed before we can supply it!!!
