Hi Ace - the way they are progressing you might get to see them at Aintree!! 😂😂
Buy them a racehorse🤣
Hi Ponie - yes all good here - we take the grandchildren horse riding every Saturday - costs a fortune but they enjoy it. Just need GGP to turn back towards the 20’s / 30’s and I will buy them their own!! So just as excited as you - best regards. Red.
Red,
Yes, excitedly fine.
Enjoyed your posts today as always and hope you and family are well also.

Good to read the exploration team are still out and about looking for new projects for the future. "Greatland considers the Woodlands tenure to be highly prospective for gold and copper mineralisation." Well, they've been pretty good so far, so here's hoping their expertise is proven once again with this new one! GLA

Anyone who votes for Reform is effectively voting in Labour - that’s my only comment on the subject.
I think they would. I like most of what they stand for.
If you vote labour or Tory you just seem to get taxed more.
I think I'll vote for "Reform"

That was bang out of order dawn - I am strictly crystal ball
Only trouble Swazers is we are dealing with Newmont not Newcrest so I don't know how recent the information is.
Oh god, don’t let masterRSI see this…
Rather perky ?? are you using the same browser as Ace ?? 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Swazers. Many thanks for your chart, drawn by a bot that has searched all the relevant trades and fundamentals. If i was a trader and traded your bots thoughts on exit prices i would miss the big rises coming our way. No way am i interested in buying at circa 7p and selling at circa 9p. The risk is far greater than your bots potential profits. My slice price is well well above that. My call would be buy, sit back and wait for the big one. ATB Speedy
Probably ground Lewis Lasseter crossed when he made his way to carnarvon; thought I would put a smile on ya face bamps - did it work 😁
Hi Jonno
My guess is that it is a Hypergene maybe similar to Winu.
Very rugged though, look at Google maps type in Mt Egerton WA.
It’s 252 miles east of Carnarvon, 152 miles east of Gascoyne junction.
Lies on a NW trend upto the Yannarie licences that we don’t hear much about, but also down to Westgolds Fortnum gold mine and their Horseshoe mine which looks copper. You can see these to the SE of Peak hill about 55 miles.
The only road I can see is 22 miles to the West, the Waldeburg road
I would be interested in Bamp's /Magic's view of the potential of the latest licence ATB Jonno

I suppose one benefit of pausing work on the decline at Havieron, is that GGP have not had to take up the bank loans at a high base rate and pay higher interest than needed.
Now with inflation coming down in Australia, the consensus is that interest rates have peaked and will fall during the next twelve months, saving GGP a lot of cash..

Agreed Red 👍
Spade its gonna go up this afternoon , will be blue by 3:15 ! I think todays rns was sd just telling us it’s business as usual and the takeover news could be a while
I heard a little birdie say we were overbought and only going one way !
But don’t worry folks, he’ll be back later letting us all know what happened.
That’s the problem with history, the questions have already been answered. Try predicting, it’s a tad harder.
Oh look 123Gold - we are back in the blue - perhaps I should become a Chartist??……Nah - load of bunkum!!

Interesting assumption made in their modelling for valuation as below:
We assume that a second decline will be constructed in 2030 (US$400m capex), with first ore in 2031, facilitating a total 6 mtpa of ore processed.
Yep cheers to both. Looking forward to the updated notes for 100% ownership.
Thanks for sharing HopefullyGold and for Paddy’s X Post👍👍

It is good to see more volume and therefore liquidity of late. May be helpful in attracting more institutional investors.
Notes from AIM-ON-AIR QUARTERLY REVIEW - 03 May 2024,

* You said on the proactive interview that you can take shortcuts from what was originally planned, does this mean a new revision of the plan needs to be submitted for the… to the DMP for approval, when would you expect the plans to be approved?
- when I referred to a shortcut I was probably trying to say that briefly in the confines of what is a shorter Proactive interview session
- so really what it is the contact between the Permian layer and the basement rock is not absolutely you know flat or horizontal
- it actually has a slope in one direction and so there are places where the basement rock and the ore body are actually closer to surface than other areas and basically with the increased density of drilling that we've done around the around the ore body and as part of that were the Bore holes we've been able to refine the path of the decline to both take what we think is the safest route through the LCA
- but also to have a path that leads us in a shorter vertical distance to actually getting to the basement rock
Sureasblazes - I always trade mine out at the moment, when we get an unexplained climb.
It's based on me being a bit underwater over the longer term, and seeking to get a bit of joy from GGP in the short term.
I don't feel any real risk in doing this at the moment because none of the last 3 rises have been news related. If it keeps moving up for more than 10 days without any significant retrace, I might be less likely to do it.
I have a fill order now at 6.50 and we shall see how it goes. Despite these recent trades, I remain a long-term investor.
Like I said a few days back when it started - an order was being filled and its now done; same happened with L&G
They (like L&G) that have bought are here for the long term.
Could of been an opportunity for more shorts to open.

SP now testing 100MA support. Lets see how strong that is. 200MA support fell through yesterday. Needs to bounce back otherwise we'll be back where we were last week.
Any more subtle de ramps for us this morning James, lol.
Too many external factors to consider Trippytaka, remember that we've got a Telfer/Havieron sized risk sat over us at the moment.
When you say some element of following pog do you mean when gold went from 2000 in January to 2300 in April and ggp went from 7 in January to 5.5 in April so when pog goes up we go down…that kind of following?

Fredie - you are too late so ask the end of them, the last one 2 May was the 1st one, so the last one of this saga. so untill the new one when is ready for that. but most likely will be in another thread.
Can that be the end of the charts for a while , becoming a bit tiresome , hoped it would hold just below 8 , time for that rns lol

It’s not fictional. There were many posts here and other places rumouring the restart of the decline, it then pumped up to nearly 9p, and now is being dumped back down to 5/6p
What more evidence do you need? Open your eyes
The trade volume is not the issue. look at the actual size of the trades, this is retail not institutions. something kicked this off last week, no doubt the rumour of the decline back in business, but no news followed, so traders are running the show. this could end up anywhere, but I highly doubt it will go to 9p on thin air.
Disagree RTC. That is not evidence at all. Its just a simple impulse, a move in price. Please provide proper evidence of a P&D. It may help you to define a P&D. I mean a proper one, not the fictional type you have in your head.
Knocking £30m off a MCap with more buys than sells. You cant make it up. Corrupt market

I honestly believe some people find happiness arguing with strangers online. Saddo's.
Instead of arguing amongst yourselves. So pointless. Better things to do in life. You only can buy and sell as your actions. We are all just passengers on this train. Unless management put something to us to vote on then there’s nothing we can do so why argue with a stranger here. Do something that makes you happy instead.
Last post: acechaser, 22 May 2024 11:10
Dip - you'd assume are buying the assets to develop/mine
If not the fools and their money will soon part.
I don't understand why some are arguing about SP intraday or over a few days if positioned here for a deal to be announced that hopefully confirms production at Havieron can be firmed up by GGP as new sole owners or another buyer whom you'd assume are buying the assets to develop/mine etc.
GGP's task right now is to close an accretive deal and then once the DFS/DTM released to start delivering some tangible value to shareholders into production i.e SP growth as one would expect in this type of investment once production is achieved.
I can get dividends with the funds invested here tomorrow, the goal at this stage surely is to benefit from a production rerate increasing the SP for most of us to realise an increase in capital invested and some may slice/exit while others decide to hold long-term for bulk mining at Hav and inorganic / organic growth.
When in a longer term position I never understand folk getting overly invested in minute by minute SP movements and IMO really should wait a while for any rise or drop to be confirmed if no news been evident. Nothing out there intimated a deal being closed as no firm guidance been given on timeframe besides NEM are looking to conclude divestments by Q1 2025 - so the recent rise could have been aligned to gold price or an insto taking a position and then some trading the rise - or other reasons...
Good morning All no work today, rain off !
Let’s hope for a afternoon Rns, to take the blues away!☂️☂️☂️☂️☂️☂️
Seems to me that momentum built due to an expectation of big news resolving Newmont/ Havieron and that just hasn't materialised.
Spy - it was that long ago I forget! Just checked my HBOS account - 27th August 2013 and 0.83p. Sadly didn't take enough at that price!

Tis a very excitable young man tis our Ben 😁
Ben, we will never see hundreds of millions of shares traded in a day. First of all, we would need absolutely tremendous news to be released for that to happen, and then you would need investors to part with their shares, and who’d do that on a fast rising SP. Nobody in their right mind is going to sell up just as it starts to get interesting. I agree that the 10% brigade would certainly do that, but I don’t believe for one second that they own that sort of volume. Most here on this board seem to be investors, not traders. You only need to look what happened from October to December last year. It took a good few weeks just for Legal & General to add to their holding by purchasing a further 99 million shares. It simply won’t happen overnight, but I do get your sentiment.
Evening All
Remember when the volume increases the sp jumps they can’t control it!
Imagine when 100s of millions of shares are traded in a day, how much will this swing one way or the other!
When the big news drops I hate to think how many shares get traded that day!
Good times ahead!
All the best Ben ⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️

Wow the shorter here obviously isn't happy!
He has a point for short term traders. huge % rise, no news. it was bound to reverse but i do not think its a P&D. back to mid 7 by the looks of it. we will still be up from last weeks prices
I predict a successful P&D. Glad I took my profits early yesterday morning.

This may become a nice asset for Greatland, paying a dividend, NSR and further consideration, all in due course.
A 1% Net Smelter Royalty payable to Greatland in respect of any production from the Tasmanian Tenements. RNS of 5th June 23.
Spotted that this this morning too. Shares up 33%, but unfortunately still some way off what they were valued at when we took them as the initial consideration for their purchase of Firetower & Warrentinna. Hopefully they'll progress positively at Golder Ridge, as well as their other tenements, including of course Firetower & Warrentinna, where we still have the deferred considerations too.
