David Talbot spoke at the London South East-Red Cloud Securities Global Mining Special. Watch the full video here.
"There is no way he is going to put out an expensive exploration program unless he knows the companies complete full financial situation to the penny ! financial men like Shaun like all their ducks lined up before making big financial costing statements."
Agree!
"The 5% is done in my opinion and it’s in our favour I feel, announcement inbound anytime or he wouldn’t release that drilling exploration plan."
Disagree...The drilling plans for 2022 have been on the cards since the end of last year, and have been mentioned numerous times by Shaun Day since then. I really can't see how the 5% will have been finalised yet, since it's clearly price sensitive information, and would have been released already, had it been finalised. The 5% agreement may well prompt further drilling plans, but again IMHO, has nothing to do with the plans just released.
Yup, sadly, as is often the case, especially when we have a company RNS, they tend to come crawling out of the woodwork.

I couldn't agree more! Been there, 'done it', and have numerous T-shirts, working in, and with, all over west Africa, for decades!
Western Australia has been picked the most attractive region for mining investment in 2021, in the latest annual survey of mining companies by the Fraser Institute!
No surprise there!
IMHO, as mentioned earlier, below 9p is a buy for me, to add, but, at the same time caution is needed, because, even since that earlier post, the general gold miner/explorer market has been hit pretty hard.
Yes, it's basically a gamble as to whether or not Red Setter will come up trumps in the drilling, but, if it does, with the very limited free float, I'd expect a significant move north, IMHO, even with 'average' results.
Let's not forget, that Havieron was drilled by Newcrest Mining, and others, and, basically 'rejected', before Greatland Gold had the balls to drill deep, and, we all know where that has gone, but, sure, admittedly, well below the hyped highs now.
As always, in any investment, but especially mining, you pays your money and takes your choice!
DYOR & GLA
Yup, it's somewhat 'strange'. We've had a full week where the closing price has been up, bar one day it was the same as the previous day. Let's hope it continues this week too....
@ Tymers, "www.bottleit.co.uk all imo of course!"
Sorry, but it appears to be yet another convoluted post from you, or maybe I'm missing something?
What, exactly, are you saying. or trying to say?
Thanks in advance.
Yup, doing the same Dillon, throwing everything possible at it now!
If anyone thinks that this is ramping, and I'm pretty sure that some do, it's really NOT, IMHO!
It's actually, again IMHO, a combination of a great deal of research, over many years now, added to which is, again, undoubtedly, some manipulation, relentlessly pushing us down!
I'm more than happy to be criticised for my views, but, I'll always state, as I have for years, this is the best medium/long term investment I've seen for decades! TT
Cheap! It's ludicrously so, and has been for some time now, IMHO! Nothing more to say really! TT

Note to myself: I must remember to ask Shaun Day, at some point, if the famous gold nuggets from Black Hills are still in the company safe...I remember Gervaise Heddle being asked the same some years back now, and I seem to recall that he said that they were, then! At least Newcrest can't claim ownership, as it was before the J/V! All tongue in cheek, of course! TT
I agree Josh, especially when they state just before, "The Havieron Project is the primary target of the Newcrest-operated joint venture with Greatland Gold".
https://www.newcrest.com/careers/current-opportunities?job=982163
Another new job being advertised by Newcrest Mining, which also indicates, both, how important it is to Newcrest in growth terms, but also how close we're now getting to the upcoming Feasibility Study...
"The Havieron Project is the primary target of the Newcrest-operated joint venture with Greatland Gold and forms a key focus of Newcrest’s growth strategy in the Paterson Province...Our exciting Havieron Project the primary target of the Newcrest-operated farm-in and potential joint venture with Greatland Gold and forms a key focus of Newcrest’s growth strategy."
"As the projects Permitting and Environmental Manager, you will be responsibilities will include (but not limited to);
- Manage the implementation and sign-off of any environment or permitting related studies required for growth in the Paterson Province.
- Manage and deliver the environmental and permitting (and approval) aspects of the Feasibility Study, including a complete ESIA
....
Manage the integration of the Havieron Project with the existing Telfer Gold Mine for all environmental and permitting aspects (including water)..."
Does anyone seriously think that we're NOT going mining?!
DYOR
I'm assuming it'll be Newcrest on the ASX, followed by Greatland later on the same day, but probably prior to trading.
So true! TT
Yup, not quite sure of anything, as usual with GGP Ben, but, as I've posted already, to have five trading days in the positive at close, seems very odd. Maybe I'm missing something (easy!), but when did we last do that?
Let's be honest, that's always a bit of a 'two edged sword'!
Let's see, but it's usually the case that a company may possibly announce pre-assay, visual drilling results, if they're, clearly good!
That then, cleraly, sets a precedence for investors! So, what do we then read into any visual results, or not, at Red Setter!
It worked well for Greatland Gold at Havieron, when Gervaise Heddle reported, back in 2018, significant mineralisation, visible in their HAD005 drill hole, prior to assays. The actual assay results were spectacular.
Let's see, but this type of visual reporting can come back and get a lot of egg on your face!
What do we then read into no such visual, reports from Red Setter drilling?
Sorry PQ, I just came across your earlier post, and can't believe that it's drifted down!!
This is surely more important for investors than pretty much anything else right now! TT
Of course It's just another, and very well used, 'sales' ploy, to get people interested in something, especially in this social media world. Absolutely no problem with that, and I can see most of the classic replies. There is a downside though, and that's once people's expectations raised, whatever it is, needs to be good, or you can get a lot of egg on your face!
