That's the plan gold5. Rachel is proposing stopping transfers of uninvested cash out of S&S ISAs, into cash ISAs, after April 2027. She also wants to tax any uninvested cash (or cash equivalents like money market funds) held in S&S ISAs. However, the Treasury is currently having problems establishing exactly how they could do that.

Jrap. I don't know why we need another thread, but anyway, yes, a flexible ISA is of course legal. I have one myself. However, with respect, you haven't addressed how you could take a £108,000 overdraft from your bank and put it into an ISA. The maximum ISA contribution rate in any tax year is currently £20,000, unless you're transferring in from an existing ISA(s).

"My bank gave me an authorised overdraft enabling me put in £108k on 4th April and then out again on 6th".

How can you do that if you can only contribute the maximum £20,000 per annum? The only way that you could have done that would have been if you'd already had £108K+ in the ISA in the first place and/or had transferred the cash into a new ISA from an existing ISA(s).

IMHO, Greatland looks to be raising it's head above it's peers now with the changes in the gold price, indicating it's quality. On the ASX today:

Evolution down 2.94%

Regis down 2.08%

Ramelius down 1.75%

Newmont down 1.73%

Genesis down 1.05%

Greatland down 0.96%

The WDU (our "new mine within a mine") is fascinating, and I'm happy that Shaun Day isn't going overboard on it, although I maybe always have! As Element says, as far as the MD is concerned, it's probably better to, "Under promise and over deliver!

However, it could be significantly better than we even know now, and the ongoing and massive future drilling programme for FY26 & FY27 will be a massive potential catalyst.

All areas:

Western Limb & Eastern Limb - Mineralisation on both remain OPEN

Western Stockwork Corridor - OPEN along strike and up & down dip

Western Limb - Mineralisation OPEN to the north & south

Highest grade intercept (WUC4550104) is the southern most assay returned to date, and the mineral system is increasing in size towards the south which remains open (This is exceptionally promising in terms of grade!)

We should get the RNS advice over the next few days of the date for the FULL March 2026 Quarterly Activities Report (and same day webcast for shareholders, research analysts, media and other interested stakeholders), in advance of it's likely release w/c 27th April.

The Geelong refinery is at the other end of the country, over 1,700 miles as the crow flies from Telfer. It's affected the petrol production, not diesel. We get our diesel directly via a global oil major on a long-term contact via Port Hedland. Telfer’s processing plant power is generated onsite by natural gas that is delivered via the Pilbara Pipeline System, also ex Port Hedland, from Western Australian natural gas production.
