17k is sat there waiting, that is comfortably above the limit for a shipment. 20-25k in July means that the JV is meeting it's minimum shipping requirements per the offtake agreement

The offtake agreement isn't a straight average of the china and Africa prices. It is the China price with a small weighting towards the African price

Why would there have been 20k there by the end of June Badomen? Why would you expect them to ship and likely pay storage fees when they don't have to?

Once again shipping is the responsibility of Hainan not the JV, and I'm sure together they are far better at managing their logistics than your assumptions would ever be

The responsibility of the JV is to produce and get stock to port. Which they are clearly doing. Otherwise there wouldn't be 17k tonnes sat at the port.

Shipments have always been positioned as 6-8 weeks, not 6 weeks. Bernard said they had been offered two dates, so why are you assuming the shipment will go right at the end of the month

Shipping is Hainan's responsibility, not Kodal or KMUK. So the issue is shipping not production or land transportation as you tried to imply before.

250m dollars is the revenue figure quoted by the chairman, so if you disagree take it up with him

There isn't 17k sat at port waiting for shipping.

There isn't going to be a shipment leaving in July that could be 25k tonnes @ over 2.5k dollars per tonne

The plant isn't producing at 10k tonnes per month.

The fid for stage 2 isn't on track to be completed this year and Hainan won't have to pay dearly if they want to secure the offtake.

The Chairman didn't say the mine is likely to produce revenue of 250m dollars this year and the slide didn't say AISC at 637 dollars.

Kat I think I have explained to you several times why this is a decent investment for the Swedish lender.

Just go look at 5 year bond returns or inflation or overnight banking rates.

I have no doubt that if the investment pans out as the lender expects, then a new set of preference shares will be created in the next 18 months. But the market cap will be far higher so there isn't an issue.

The processing of the pegmatite ore for the DMS processing plant recommenced in December 2025 and has ramped up to nameplate capacity of 10,000 tonnes per month following the improvements made during the maintenance outage.

The report explicitly states they are producing c10k per month badomen.
