They have lost a lot of revenue of the smokers, the pubs are empty, more electric cars ( less petrol) all these things have subsidising the squeaky clean people!

It only leaves legalising cannabis and tax that to hell!

Apart from that it’s the stock market, they need money!

I think they have probably put it out there to see what the reaction would be on the market and people!

Nothing has been thought through or finalised ie how much before tax and how long before you have to reinvest.

I think it is probably more aimed at people just storing massive amounts in there share isa tax free!

But who knows there thinking 🤷‍♂️ they need money and are looking at all alternatives, this won’t be the first or last.

You are right about a good punt and obviously the earlier you get in the higher the return.

For me though after going through what we went through , it’s either take a punt now and lock it in the bottom drawer for 6-12 months and forget about it.

Or wait for a while and see what transpires, it could be a 10 bagger + or it could be grey hair and disappointment!

We had a lot of luck or else we would have been nursing severe financial injuries.

1stly we were lucky that Gervaise negotiated the 10% toll fee and the $50m loan from newcrest.

2ndly gold price was so low at that time that Telfer was a loss making concern and they were desperate for HAV.

3rdly Newcrest civil war so the eye was of the ball and Newmont moved in

4thly having Shaun and the board get the financial backing from twiggy and the banks.

5th was when the price was agreed for the reverse takeover the POG just kept on rising, making Telfer viable again!

Luck or skill? I’m a believer you create your own luck in this world!

Unfortunately the only thing holding the sp back is funds or financing.

I believe if a financial backer or finance from a bank proved this would go on a march.

You are in takeover area, so could get a jump there, I have a bit of powder to go in just waiting for the right time!

I had a few years of hell with Greatland and if it wasn’t for twiggy we would have been screwed!

So let’s see what happens over the next couple of months!

Ask the question why is it if they are able to knock £100k of a house in hard times why wasn’t the profit margin a lot higher in the boom!🤷‍♂️

Why not it will only give us a mcap of about £7b !

And this will be the start of a second year and in the 1st year you normally are being judged!

On site not, all private housing stopped, contractors gone bust through owed monies, HB’s only building going ahead, more and more trades leaving ( going into private sector,or elsewhere)

Site agents leaving in their droves and now management arguing amongst themselves!

Not been this volatile since the 90s

To many management trying to justify there positions, get ready for a cull!

The private sector has been found out as new builds are over priced compared to older houses, land wise smaller!

We should have had a bigger recession a while back, but the money which came in from Hong Kong kept the market afloat!

Now that money has gone we will have to wait until wages catch up and people can afford to buy.

The problem is that with all the demands by councils, environment agencies and other departments ( also internal costs) the costs to build is too expensive!

Until cut backs happen and I’m not on about the small people, the HB’s are too top heavy with many people having to justify their jobs !

Nothing will change!
