I have for sometime wondered why such a board of expertise for GGP ,especially those from Fortescue and also what attracted Wyloo and Andrew Forrest .Is it possible that Havieron and other subsequent discoveries in the area- could be the first totally green energy driven mines in the world -it would certainly be an accolade for whoever is involved . The WA government are in significant credit -A grant from them and a national grant from the Australian government to enable a mine to be totally green energy driven would give the country a world first - a marker set down for the industry in terms of support for climate change-Globally,Nationally, and politically and for someone like Andrew Forrest it would be the pinnacle of his achievemnts -could telfer be converted or would it mean a new plant but keeping some of the other infrastructure infrastructure . I may be talking complete rubbish but I would be interested in opinions from the genuine experts who frequent this board ATB Jonno
The SP is irrelevant unless you are selling .The price of gold is going up but (as I think Jerry said) we dont want it to take off yet while deals are to be done in terms of our possibly buying the other 70% of Hav - You dont h ave a board of this calibre(they wouldnt be involved if they thought this was a bad investment) if they personally didnt see a very lucrative future for GGP . The gold (a massive amount is there ) and will be mined but mining is never straight forward and takes time ATB Jonno
The fundamentals havent changed ,a board of this calibre dont get involved if they dont think this is something special.Yes it has been a roller coaster ride and probably will continue to be so .The price of gold continues to rise .I will continue to hold my shares till we reap what I genuinely believe will be a great reward ATB Jonno

Markets hate uncertainty - so far there has been some excellent results but they need confirmation -all the risks and costs need to be assessed -how are the costs going to be met - options have been discussed on this board -and finally the company hasnt made a penny -SO FAR-ATB Jonno

Very fair question -even a bidding war for a JV -there should be several suitors -I dont know what input into "the way to go the Tanzanian Government would have -but they certainly will want their share either way .Iam not sure if Noble would want to be involved in some way - I suspect a few twists and turns along the way ATB Jonno
Does anyone know what the time scale ought to be from this discovery , to confirmation of the concentration of both helium and gold hydrogen and flow rates etc to actual production and any possible problems that might be encountered along the way -and what the costs would be -both payable to the Tanzanian government and for recovery of the helium and hydrogen -Obviously A JV or equivalent will be required
I appreciate this is a tremendous find but income wont be generated for sometime and that will be the factor really affecting the SP.
Greatland Gold suffered the same hype -reaching 37p at the height of the hype and is now back to 7.4p as nothing has been produced as yet ,although production is getting nearer .I accept that like the gold the Helium and Hydrogen will still be there but just not being produced and so not generating income for sometime ATB Jonno
I wonder if this will drift in the short term -I think before a JV is possible more data is required -If the data confirms what we all hope and believe then a JV should happen -but we will still be some way from production -I dont think this is a quick profit share -long term could be a real winner ATB Jonno

I am no physicist/chemist but all the hype re graphene (and the potential for graphene in numerous fields is huge )may be overtaken by borophene .Borophene nanostructures have been synthesized and characterized on AU (111) in a vacuum. The nanoscale templated growth of Borophene on AU (111) presents the opportunuity for studying and manipulating the electronic properties of 2 D metals -the potential for this could be enormous -as you say other uses for gold ATB Jonno
Interesting article in Science Advances -Belfast University have using a VERY highpowered laser on gold and have shown evidence of Phonon hardening in laser excited gold using xray diffraction at a hard xray free electron laser
I think basically it means that gold has been looked at at atomic level -it melts and then harden sand needs a much higher temeprature to melt it again- Im not sure of the significance of the finding for gold uses ATB Jonno
