As MH01 said a couple of days ago when I said that gold had gone up $1000US /ounce since we bought Telfer-he rightly said that the hand shake and price was fixed march2024 even though we bought Telfer Dec4th 2024 so had gone up 1400$US ,Copper has gone up 12% since march2024ATB Jonno

Price of gold may have dropped a bit but to put it into perspective -since we bought Telfer (dec2024) ,the price of gold has gone up very nearly$1000 US per oz which makes our reserves worth a little more ATB Jonno

As far as I know there are no tax free Isa's in Australia-(my son who lives in Perth tells me ),Certainly profits from your first £20,000 in a shares ISA in UK isnt taxed ,after that I am not sure ATB Jonno

I think you make some very fair points-I have been here since 2017 and havent sold any and have bought more over time -I dont have a large holding but enough for me and I am not under water fortunately .I think what some need is a time scale for when the large rewards may appear -this will in part be related to world events so difficult to predict .We have an exceptional team running the company and some powerful people in the wings who I hope will prove supportive if the need arose.I have complete faith in Shaun Day.He may not get things completely right every time but I have yet to meet any great boss who does .I think that what some of those who have sold or are tempted to sell would like is a time scale as to when things might improve (wouldnt we all!!) Trump has a bit to do with this board in that 2days ago he said he was going to put a 50% tariff on copper on August 1st-.Copper futures rose from 5.06 to 5.63 .Greatland Resources has quite a lot of copper.Copper futures have risen nearly 15% in the last month .Hence my previous comment ATB Jonno

It may not last depending what Trump decides to do with Tariffs but right now I am glad we have copper too ATB Jonno

I have shares with HL and also applied for retail shares - that purchase is marked as pending and I cant trade my original shares
