$300 oil is a tail-risk scenario moon not a base case. Confusing ‘possible’ with ‘inevitable’ or ‘obvious’ is poor forecasting frankly and bad advice if you run a telegram tip service.

No major investment bank or mainstream energy research house that has a forecast anywhere near $300 per barrel. JP = $60-80 long term with the highest ‘adverse’ forecast being Goldman at circa $120 if troubles continue. Trump won’t want them to as it’s making him look terrible and he’s talked of plummeting oil prices when the war’s over.

Also, is the dream team the same one we all read and made a few informed investments with their collective free advice? The reason many are way over 100% even with these corrections. Ah them. Bitter much, lol.

Similar was said when the price was on its @rse when the merger happened..it didn’t reflect what was on paper, but over time it did, that’s what people are saying here, on paper we should be a lot higher, we just had a bumper upgrade ffs yet down 20% on the month with gold still $4k. GLA

Victorocto, That's an old narrative.. Greatland has grown Telfer's resource with a huge increase in measured & indicated resources, not reserves yet, but they're exactly what future reserve updates will be built from. You know this, and to say "Telfer has a year or two at best" ignores the biggest resource upgrade in years. The question isn't whether there's more gold, it's how much gets converted into reserves and added to the mine plan. And more to come all being well. You ain't getting my shares Sonny Jim!

Pernickety I agree total joke they're after the one thing that was built as a tax shield by definition. It'll be the interest on the cash that's taxed though not the cash itself per say so all your GGP profits etc when sold will at least remain tax free at the value that they hit the account, we'll just have to work out 22% of whatever interest the cash makes if it sits there (unless it's done automatically, which I doubt). But yes, not sure how it'll be 'policed'? they'll probably expect people to declare it in a self assessment return?

Even the lower end and we'll re-rate, ignoring any mega updates along the way.. Keep the faith, we've been up/down for months we'll probably be up again next week who knows!

GGP's in the same trading range as when the POG went bananas at the start of the year.. it'll blow the doors off once gold eventually re-tests highs. Happy to hold/add.

I mean charts are charts but as far as I can see POG is still 4100+ atm.. at one point charts said GGP was on a death spiral pre transformation. Major analysts all predicting well over $5k in the near future so there’s that too. GLA, gonna be a stonker ☀️

Vic we all ‘hoped’ SD would pull it off and he did, big gains are made when hope is required, is what it is.. even buying index funds you have to hope there isn’t a black swan event etc.

Traders giving it the big guns about selling out to buy lower will be locked out watching POG climb if a peace deal is indeed inbound.. risky game.
