After listening to Roger Mason on the Antipa Minerals update Im for the first time picking that RIO would be the front runner to scoup up as Roger said all of the Patterson assets and in so making one big mining operation based around Telfer, if this pans out RIO could have in the order of a 20 million oz gold with copper to boot operation.
With the now over supply of iron ore in China and subsequent weakening of that pricing RIO will be casting its eye over any and all potential assets and the Patterson could fit that bill, then its a matter of price as scale is the key for them , every one has their price but first GGP has to firm up the size of this ore body to maximum its exit price imho.
What and where are we, GGP if Newmont drills the AZY ground as per the farm in agreement and their adjacent ground which surrounds the AZY holding proving up a Telfer type discovery, they decline to take the GGP ore on a tolling basis and now are not needing to sell the Telfer mining operation, where does that leave us/GGP ?
That is a very large volume of water to deal with , what is the expertise necessary to successfully manage that and allow for additional water during the wet season ?
Does anyone have any idea what volumes of water we are talking about remembering that water does not run up hill !
From someone who bought GGP @ .018 in Nov 2018 and is still holding through the highs ( dumb me ) and lows , Im staggered that we are now sub .06p .
I held SFR ( ASX ) from an early stage of its discovery and thought that GGP would mirror its path with its discovery and its funding reveal , I think it peaked at $10 Au but has settled down into its life as a producer.
We all know that one day the bottom will be reached but who knows where, it cannot be too far off, I suspect that it will be when all the hard work ( construction ) has finished and production has started sometime next year.
Will that be at this level or sub .05 p?
