Or were they all drunk on champagne? Lol
Did everyone attending the AGM have to sign a NDA? Very quiet.
No I wasn't there, just my take on the lack of bullish posts from people who were.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong
In view of the silence, perhaps Millsy and James are at number 2 with Birdy (AKA All down the pub celebrating)... :-D
Best,
Mr T
Well keeping quite has its advantages if your selling.
I think not continuing at eureka is big news, Colin was saying we might have a massive iocg there!!!
Now it's not worth a few deep holes to fi d out?
"Well if the AGM was that good then someone would be saying it"
You could say the same if if it was not good?
My experience of AGMs is that they are largely an administrative process, and tend not to be used to make ground-breaking announcements as to the future, or whatever, of the company. As someone pointed out yesterday, any 'interesting' stuff would need to be announced to the market either in advance, concurrently with the AGM, or afterwards via RNS.
You can't announce market sensitive information exclusively to a tiny subset of shareholders who were fortunate enough to be able attend a physical meeting in person.
I just don't believe that bushranger will go that way. The only reason would be down to listening to Jeremy read, no-one else.
The SP is where it is because the market doesn't rule out that in 18 months time Bushranger will have gone the way of Kalingwa and possibly Eureka.
We're you there jezzoo?
I hate to say it but it sounds like 3.5p tomorrow
Well if the AGM was that good then someone would be saying it.
I'm sure we will all find out at 8 AM Tomorrow.
Thanks Ben, I will be interested in the explanation of Eureka... if indeed there has been a change in direction on this...
Definitely not number 2. Mixture of 3 and 4 perhaps. Good to meet Millsy and James and a couple of others. Nice to meet fellow holders.
I'm sure Steve and Millsy will have more to report. By the sounds of things we may get a full report with estimated resource for both Ascot and RC by October. Other projects in the pipeline. Not much interest in exploring Eureka much further by the sounds of things although they are actively trying to get 12 months of material out of it. By the sounds of it, Colin is OK with moving AA along or perhaps he knows they won't be too interested. Better to have more than one customer - are there some waiting in the wings?
Had a good chat afterwards and lots of questions remain - of course Colin can't go into too much detail. Retold his story of how quickly the sale of Kalumbila went through.
I'm sure others can report more / clarify my initial thoughts. Have had to write quickly as off out again.
Well the radio silence is probably down to
1. Meeting still going on
2. All down the pub celebrating
3. All have been sworn to secrecy of the fantastic news to come
4. Simply nothing to declare
I couldn't tell you which one but hope it has gone or going well
Hopefully they've dragged CB down the pub and are plying him with copious amounts of malt whiskey to get him gabbing. Loose talk, to reveal JORC!
Gixxer, looking forward to your warts and all opinion of how the AGM went, if you went?
Would be much appreciated.
Coming soon - Fair Bride attracted by Bushranger. Sounds like an old “bodice ripper” film !! :)
Apparently Alistair Ford survived re-election vote 53% to 47%
Rather dull then.
I personally doubt there will be much about Bushranger apart from generalities at the agm.
Hopefully a bit more detail on fairbride production progress and when we can expect q2 results
Have you tried Rennie's? Always work for me.
I want the jolly good news now please
F100
Colin will not say anything today that will provide any clearer guidance than is already being digested with difficulty.
An agm but we know some technical questions will be asked by shareholders.....
If a statement is made in the agm that provides new information to the market that would need to be RNSed.
Would much prefer that RNS to be ahead of the agm otherwise we are in the dark until we get feedback from attendees
