Morning all I hope you had a lovely weekend, just checked in and I see RedRoger is pushing Quady's buttons effectively this morning.

To make a change I read Quady's post in the style of Angry of Mayfair today.

It actually did contain several references to the company and it's operations, unfortunately the rampers here want to keep that from potential new PI's.

Some of us who aren't rampers or bashers but point out the uncomfortable truth are shareholders too.

JDAU, I have much respect for your posts on here, you are measured and wise in your replies and I can see merit in your last post, but the main point I’m making is his age.

I don’t like bringing it up as I detest ageism but what would happen if CB suddenly became incapacitated, something that is more likely to the older you get.

Who would take the reins at such short notice?

On this occasion I completely agree with you Quady, the key to it all is job creation and that comes with wealth creation.

We will always have to support people in genuine need, just not everyone who doesn't feel up to doing a days work today because they had a bad dream in the night.

I watched Bliar yesterday, regardless of his supposed plans for world domination of the poor, my take was he was more concerned that Starmer was destroying his beloved Labour party with its policies and he has jumped in an effort to save it from him. There is a growing opinion that net zero is too expensive for the UK given the percentage we contribute towards the idea compared to the damage we are supposed to be causing.

Blair getting involved is perhaps not surprising and his some and some approach to net zero fits into his long held " third way " philosophy.
