"Likely a small premium placing "
That will explain why the share price has gone up so consistently over the last few months:
https://www.google.com/finance/quote/VAL:LON?hl=en&window=6M
Those dastardly market makers are just spoofing investors...
Likely a small premium placing with warrants given the current market cap. Just my guess but looking at another stock involving the same broker might just follow the same strategy if they can get buyers in. I can see that happening if either 201 or 401 are likely by year end so not as what everyone hopes.
Pursuant to the Fundraising, in aggregate, 714,285,714 Fundraising Shares will be issued at the Fundraising Price which represents a premium of 59 per cent.
Only time will tell.
Squeaky bum time!
Jinky, looks like a sell off in to a placing but to be fair to ME, he has inherited the current situation.
Looks like our new ceo is as clueless as the last one,
Definitely death by 1000 cuts
Next placing price 0.5 which should be the last one before Pi say enough is enough. The company is like Chugging. Kept afloat by placings. No way back from this one I am afraid. Someone will get the assets for free no doubt. The company in Administration sometime in 2025.
This is being walked down to the placing price around the 1p mark would be my guess from previous tactics.
The world is impermanent.
We should live in the present, since the past is gone. But we should learn from the past as the present evolved from the past. The future will become the present, so in reality the present is what matters not the past.
It's your money but I don't know what possessed you to invest in this company? Have to assume to read about its appalling history? Might have been better to wait for the very likely placing at a penny or less.
Just IMO. Could be totally wrong.
Not a great start Darth, but not money I need so happy to sit on it. This company at one point had great potential so I don't see why it can't rise again with new ideas and new products.
Taximan, welcome back! Start as you mean to carry on eh sir ;) glad you dont mind the odd capital raise here n there, some of us can still afforsld a tin of beans fromthe returns from our investments. Hey ho, jolly hockey sticks...
Not quite a new beginning for me here but managed to come back in at the highest point of the day, not a great start. I recall selling at 3.5p some time ago so coming in at 1.5p I shouldn't complain. I do see a lot of delusional posts here and may have to do some more homework but I am confident that management this time round will do me proud. I don't mind a raise now and again, after all it's what to expect until products are approved, and there is always the possibility of a new product just around the corner. Hopefully you heard it hear first ;)
Lol Rat, we’ll see mate.
But 201 just isn't one of those drugs is it? It came from a bin, it's going back in the bin. It achieved next to nothing, and in the fours years since it has attracted no investment, it didn't even attract a single peer review. And please don't mention TheoremRx as if they're going to come up with anything. The whole 'exclusive' deal was a way of pretending other parties might be interested but were being kept away. If 201 was even remotely of interest it would be attracting interested stares through the shop window, not sitting in the kitchen waste.
Rat, you miss my point…. I was not comparing VAL to GSK but purely making the point that quoted companies can have many placings and rights issues etc during their journeys over a long period of time, so doesn’t really matter in the bigger scheme of things.
That is unless you don’t partake in the fund raising as you will be diluted to hell until your holding is worth next to nothing - quite a few here in that position sadly.
If you don’t want to partake because one, you’ve already lost too much or two, no confidence in the stock then you’ll just wither away and must sell to stop the rot.
Finally, repurposed / reformulated drugs such as 201 or 401 account for some of the most successful formulas of all time historically… have a read here:

'201 l think we will all be surprised as it is a remarkable formula used for BC201 and 301 and has multiple other uses as well as Prostate and still stacks up now...'
The only surprise with 201 is that anyone pretends there may be any demand for it at all. Picked out of a dustbin over a decade ago, an agonisingly slow dose escalation trial took place over several years with patient numbers who would all fit in a transit minibus together, gave mediocre responses, and what minimal results there were have now been gathering dust for four years and counting.
As Grainger14 said, for anyone thinking of sticking money in here, DYOR. And be sure to go back through the RNSs and see how many pages and years you have to go back to see anything other than the odd letter of intent which is worth less than the paper it's written on in contractual terms. Otherwise the most frequent events look to be raisings and consolidations.
And the only way Val would get a share price anywhere near Glaxo's would be to do a 1000/1 consolidation tomorrow. And even then it would only be temporary. To get near Glaxo's 62 billion market cap Val would need to have profitable products that were in demand, not redundant anti psychotic drugs that someone else was throwing out.
Porky the broken record! LOL he hates the positive rhetoric.
1. you say raise 15, l think Glaxo have probably have over 100 in their lifetime so what? They are always subscribed to if not oversubscribed.
2. 201 l think we will all be surprised as it is a remarkable formula used for BC201 and 301 and has multiple other uses as well as Prostate and still stacks up now in comparison to its contempories.
3. 401, yet again technically incorrect as Ambrose will indeed due to financing most likely JV 401 when / if adopted. We will discover shortly.
Therein shoots Piglets thought straight through his trotter!
Are you admitted to using inside information, as that's the only way you can accuse someone of being 'totally' deluded in having a different opinion or are you just being mischievous....my take is the latter, savoured with a sprinkling of pigtoo .
@DarthInvestor - Is that because its a load of fanny? LMOL
@PM2022 - Keep telling yourself. I see no difference. Suzy was involved back then. They started in good faith post George and Satu by getting costs back under £1.4m a year, they did well to do that but unfortunately quickly reverted back to type. Spend Raise Spend Raise Consolidate cycles with costs back up closer to £2.4m again to where is was prior to bust.
201 won't result in any cash -you are totally deluded, not a hope in hells chance. And as for 401, well it could get licensed by Ambrose BUT there would be little or more likely ZERO cash on signing, it could only be a 100% milestone led deal as i see it and that's because Ambrose don't have the cash for anything else. IF they got their current raise away it would be enough to keep Ambrose going not enough to fund phase trials of 401 through to commerciality, that's years off.
So where is your cash going to come from @PM2022 - i will tell you: good old charitable shareholders again digging deep to fund raise 15 IF ME can get it away - i'm not convinced he can pull it off again. Serious risk of this going into Administration IMO - Will know soon enough.
I am fairly confidant we have met 🤔
Thoughts ?
Lol even the google chart shows a camel-toe formation today! Lol raaa raaa cheerleader, give me a "V"....
I would disagree. Val has had numerous big moves roughly from 1p to 10p, 3p to 74p and 6p to 66p range so some would have made big money during those times although recently the trend has been downwards. They need a big move again from here.
The company under George and Satu was different to what Suzy and the current board had taken over in terms of strategy. The strategy is different and these guys are doing different to what George and Satu were doing at the time. You cannot get that mixed up. Progress is being made but is slow.
201 and 401 you can do what you want but both have LOI so therefore I don't think you are in a position to write it off. Obviously results were promising but larger trials are needed.
PM.....i would never put 1p back in to val, them and people like you have taken millions off investors over 15 yrs with your ramping and lies.
201/401 never worked ,you can see that in past rns.
I would not invest here untill they have been investigated by the FCA. How so few can take money from so many and give nothing in return is beyond me. A favourite saying from the past....
DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH 👍🏻
dont believe the rampers, they will tell you everything you want to hear. JMO
Ok Porky we all understand it’s game over for VAL - we get it now after your years of posting and telling us that the end is nigh, but we are still here sadly for you with a new beginning! LOL
