ROYAL MAIL AND CWU ONE-YEAR PAY AGREEMENT
· Royal Mail and CWU negotiators have reached agreement on a 1.6% increase in base salary for all CWU-represented grade employees (including Parcelforce Worldwide), backdated to early April 2016. The CWU will recommend that members accept the offer in a ballot
· Royal Mail and the CWU will quickly begin talks on a range of issues
Royal Mail and Communication Workers Union (CWU) negotiators have today reached agreement on a one-year pay deal for 2016-17. The pay deal is subject to a ballot in favour by CWU members. The Union will recommend that its members accept the pay offer.
CWU-grade employees at Royal Mail (including Parcelforce Worldwide) will receive a 1.6 per cent increase in base salary, backdated to early April 2016. The pay increase also applies to basic pay supplements, skills and shift allowances, London Weighting, overtime and scheduled attendance rates.
