AUTO TRADER GROUP PLC TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Auto Trader Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 29 January 2020 it purchased through Numis Securities Limited the following number of its ordinary shares for Cancellation at an average price of 578.1662 per share:

Highest purchase price paid per share: | 583.80p |
Lowest purchase price paid per share: | 576.40p |
Following the above transaction, the Company has 925,285,279 ordinary shares in issue and holds 4,090,996 ordinary shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 921,194,283 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Auto Trader Group plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
