Who can forget the arrival of that young lad in shorts with his unbroken squeaky voice who has now matured into man that we know today as PL75 - Cytiva Klaus running around in his basement chained to the radiator. Then there was RorkesD and Ophidian who were spending all their time sending those mutual posts of admiration. The only thing that hasn't changed throughout those years is Timster who's never changed, always doing the same thing! I'm sure the guy's just a posting bot! :-)

Good to see that a spot of banter is so welcome on here and how some, that'll be Intrusivethought and troublesome, clearly don't have "issues", thus not taking things personally in any way, shape or form :-) TOP TIP! It's not always about "you". My point was the way in which the docket is written (and 'legal speak' generally) could be simplified, without the need to tie itself up in grammatical knots!

This is the first time I've listened to the CEO here and I've got to say I thought that was a superb presentation from someone who is clearly sincere, honest, knowledgeable and does give a dam about the company shareholders. I asked the final 'simplistic question' about how they can suspect Samsung of infringing their IP if they don't know how the Koreans make their CFQDs? The fact that he took the trouble to explain in layman's terms and without being condescending spoke volumes to me.

I know this may sound strange but did anybody else notice how Wyndrum used the phrase "It's just another day at the office" in his post here at 1328. Well, that immediately struck me because I heard someone yesterday evening saying exactly the same thing. It was on The Chase last night!I put it to you, my learned friends, that I may have gotten it wrong yesterday when I suggested that Wyndrum is TW. I can now reveal that he is in fact Bradley Walsh's Dark Destroyer!!!!

DTW, to add to what Wyn has said, I would find it VERY unusual if we discovered the market had not fully understood an investment opportunity of this potential magnitude (AV6K) - or if they had 'missed a trick' where Avacta was concerned. I too believe many are playing a waiting game, moreso after the LFT chain of events. Those who say we withdrew that and paint it as having been motivated through honour usually forget to mention how our hand was effectively 'forced' because it didn't actually work as it should where some Covid strains were concerned. None of this is meant as a criticism but it does hopefully convey my thinking on why we are where we are on the SP front, at least until the P1a results come out.

FWIW, the central question for me is: Will the market welcome a successful AV6K result as proof that the cleaving and dispersal within a tumour works (massive innovative step forward) or will they view it as just another P1 drug trial so there's still a long way to go (short spike in the morning)?

This may seem strange but the following quote struck me as soon as I read it on TW’s main page just now. It was published 57 minutes before I read it:

“My crime is to point out that Avacta (AVCT) needs to do a fund raise.”

BUT that prompted me to remember something earlier today on here at 1015 from Wyndrum (possibly ‘as in’ a little play on words: Win******th-Drum):

“Why is being right is such a crime on these BB's?”

The phraseology and writing style is very similar, so much so that Wyndrum’s turn of phrase struck me as strange to the point of me remembering it. And then it crops us again from a different writer (or not). Neither of them is daft and, frankly, nothing would surprise me on these boards.

No issue to grind with either. Just saying.......
