I wouldn't say it wasn't straightforward. Why would you advertise the financials of any licence deal by announcing them and compromising your negotiating position on other licences. Like wise for those taking these licences, they will be competing with other licence holders in the future to sell cpx licensed products, so why let your competitors see your margins. Think of your own work place, I would imagine that your salary is private between you and your employer, it's not shared to the whole company, same principle.

There maybe a heavy cost associated with legal fees to defend the patents possibly?

I think I interpreted it correctly and even If I didnt then Its been mentioned and as the old saying goes "There is no smoke without Fire"

I reluctantly sold out here this morning at a large %age loss, for one reason only, it was this paragraph below in the RNS, in particular the last sentence.

"In particular the Board believes it makes little commercial sense for the Company to continue incurring costs that are not essential either to the day to day operation of the existing wells in Slovenia or to maintaining the AIM quote for the Company's shares."

This used to be a good board and I enjoyed reading it. Now, it's not worth it, not because of openspaces, but because of the lack of ability for some people to have the company questioned. I think it's healthy discussion, I wouldn't say Open is blatantly anti this share, he is clearly invested, but questioning the prospects of the company should be used to develop useful discussion, not shot down with insults. I have been in a few shares where similar opinions have been shot down and people insulted, only to find out later that they were right. So, let's discuss the share and not jump on people just because they dont agree with you, use it as a chance to discuss and learn, it may help you in the long run.

Thanks for the link, have seen the hearings. What I am not clear about is that renegade claim there is a breach of licence because the mandatory start date of first drill was breached (it wasn't according to RNS) There must be more to it and the worry has to be that if renegade is proved right then there is a possibility that the licence voids and Highlands has nothing at East Denver. This dispute has not been notified by RNS, should it have been? There has to be severe implications if Highlands actually did miss the mandatory start date. I am invested here, this is stopping me risking more until I find out the truth behind this. It seems to have been glossed over by the company and also no real discussion on here about it

There is this ongoing dispute re the licence and the start date at East denver. I have searched for info on this, there are no RNS about this, but there were links to hearings taking place last week, but cannot find anything about the possible implications, if any, if Highlands lands the wrong side of any decision. Could it be this that's holding back the share price, is there a big risk to highlands keeping the licence? I don't know, can someone clear this up please

The settlement of the Leigh Creek transaction includes issue of SML shares at the weighted average price over the month of March. Am I naive in thinking that the price has been moved down so that these shares are acquired at an advantageous price by the mine seller?, after all the lower the price they get them at, the better they will do. On that basis this could stay at this level or go lower next week, with a recovery after 31st March. Maybe not what anyone here wants to hear, but it's an explanation as we have broken the recent lows of 1.85 a price that showed a lot of resistance.

Reading the various Rns I think they started developing truck start, realised that there were far more beneficial uses for the tech and so went on to develop that further. Some type of truck start is already released as its an available product on the website.

nonsense, you need to differentiate between a placing that adds asset value to a company (non dilutive) and one that does not. £2m of this is to pay for additional investment (asset value), the rest for working capital. The fact that they raised such a large amount and was oversubscribed is good, it proves that there is confidence from investors. A drop around level of the placing price is not to be unexpected, longer term we will see this rise in my opinion,

Yes, but your "its over post" doesn't make one jot of difference to anyone. The share is suspended, what happens will happen and your post stating your personal opinion is pointless as it doesn't add anything new that gives people an opportunity to take action. I learnt from one bad experience not to ignore the negative comments too, as some of them are valid, but your post has no substance whatsoever, you offer nothing new, your opinion is just that and as such is irrelevant to everyone on here.

Pointless comment. Regardless of the outcome, the share is suspended, those of us that hokd are locked in, If it good news then we do well, if its bad then so be it. We have no choice, we are in it until the truth is revealed, so don't bore us with pointless comments that make no difference to the final outcome.

As far as I am concerned Cairn are partially responsible for this predicament. If this does get delisted, then I will certainly be reluctant to get involved in anything that has Cairn as a broker. Once bitten etc....

I am considering this, the financials in the trading update are not really that dire. However, having read the latest trading update and the previous full year results and report, I have to say that there is a reduction in the quality of the statement made, it is not well put together, compared to previous report. Having looked at the website, it is also not particularly good, the language is not structured well, in short it is poor. A google search doesnt find it easily either and thats the basics for a company like this. I think this is why the share price has plunged, confidence is not being generated here. I would like to know why CEO departed, although I suspect that some of what I have mentioned above might have something to do with it. Do we know what he is doing now, i.e help understand why he may have departed. This may well be a good buying opportunity, but given that there is probably unlikely to be news of any type shortly, I do not think that it has reached the bottom yet as there is little to stop it dropping. This may well turn out to be one of these bargains in due course and will be watched closely.
