I didn't ask the question, the answer that may have come didn't interest me as it would have been speculation. I didn't like the response that was given to the guy that asked it, it was rude and unnecessary .
I have been invested here for multiple years, this chat room used to be good, full of interesting discussion in the good old grahamwales days.
Nowadays I rarely pay attention as it's usually the same few people bickering like kids in a playground, each thinking they are the top dog.

To go back to the original question asked, which was reasonable, (has anyone done any research on loxus to determine if we will get any settlement) ,despite Kencarv shooting the questioner down telling him to read the RNS, the answer to that is not in any RNS from CPX , who don't really know either, but they suspect there isn't much chance (not the exacting wording but that's what it means) Perhaps Kencarv can share with us what he knows about Loxus and the likeyhood of any compensation being made, that's what a decent human being would do. From his insulting reply to the guy he obviously has found some information.

The problem with people like Kencarv, they scare people from making comment, so all we get are the same people dominating the chat, that reduces the amount of valuable info coming through and it becomes all based on the opinions of a small elite.

I agree, if you can't reply to someone in a reasonable civil manner then don't bother commenting. Reasonable question he asked, it's people like you ken that ruin this chat for everyone.

I think CPX have been forced down the production road. Sitting back and taking Royalties is certainly clean and easy, but only if people are honest and pay Royalties, whereas the history here is of other companies ripping us off and depriving us of Royalty revenue.

I am not taking up either. There is the theory that when the new shares become tradeable the current mcap will stay the same, but will be divided by a larger number of shares, so a lot lower a price, maybe nearer 2p is possible. I won't be adding at that either, as I am heavily enough exposed here. On aim they are always happy to drop prices by very larger percentages, but it's a struggle to get that back. This whole market is a rigged race to the bottom.

I don't think it's overvalued, rather undervalued, we have a market valuation of £9m, presumably the bargain acquired equipment is woth a few multiples of that. However, this market doesn't recognise value, its based on sentiment and corruption, so the value is low. If this equipment has considerable value, well beyond the £9m company valuation, then its a bargain steal for someone to take over.

This market cannot be trusted to deliver value, its run for large institutions that tread all over small investors. If I thought I could buy at 3p and add value, then I would, but more likely the market will kill it below that price anyway, so I am not risking it. Given the rubbish RNSs that also havnt done the share price any favours, I am not risking any further exposure beyond what I have already, all of which I will hold onto for longer term.
If this does eventually deliver then I will take my money out of this corrupt market and not get involved again.

I find it amusing how some posters used to shout down others for passing negative opinions on the company, these same posters now doing just that themselves, but that's OK because it's them ??

6 months would be 31 st December, no panic. Company law for UK companies states audited annual accounts should be lodged with companies House not later that 9 months after year end. Aim may well require 6 months.

Fair enough, apologies for any offence caused, generally the purpose of the results announcement is to meet the statutory requirement of reporting the historical accounts. If the company chooses to wait to announce other stuff then fine, as long as deadlines are met (no issues here at this time)

I have positive view on CPX, but "waiting on tranactions" is total nonsense from posters that are making things up. The results are the finalised official audited version of the accounts to the year end 30 June.
Transactions in the last few weeks or days are not relevant to that.

Think it's just a case of renegotiating an extra couple of days, no big deal.

All this talk about a dividend at the AGM then there is a fund raise soon after. Not knocking it, its understandable and I think positive, but for ffs don't talk about divis at the AGM when we can pay for necessities without having to raise funds.

One of these days, like the ppi scandal, this shorting behaviour will be exposed. When we trust our nominees to hold our shares we have an agreement with them that they will look after and protect our investments. If they are knowingly lending these shares to shorter then they are breaching that agreement and are destroying our investments, not protecting them as they should. Eventually the lawyers will see lucrative returns, like the ppi scandal, and go after these companies/institutions etc as their share of the compensation will be very lucrative.

And before anyone starts, I am not a troll with an ajenda, this is how I see it. I have been here since 1.5p days (much higher average now tho), i came in because I saw this technology had a future and I think Teslas move on Maxwell justified that view. Capacitors and supercapacitors are the next big thing, it's just a question of how CPX manages to get the value realised.

Parkez, yes some large companies have licences,but we heard of one large automotive that walked as they thought us too small, there are obviously others as the various nearly concluded deal a havnt been concluded and the latest statement did give any confidence that any will. I doubt automotive is even an option for us now, seems to have moved away from that, why? I wish I had bailed out when it was twice this price, but I ain't bailing out now, it's all or nothing as far as I am concerned and will hold until it succeeds or fails.

Agree with that, company is too small to be taken as a serious player with the large multinationals. Its also too small to protect its IP, really needs taken over by a larger player in the market. This is why they are not making any head way, they are obviously speaking to large players, but these are looking back at a minnow. It's kinda like one of us starting a bakery and knocking on the door of Mcdonalds offering to take on the roll supply. Ain't going to happen. The technology we have is world class, but it needs to be put into the hands of someone that is able to exploit it. The Tesla takeover of Maxwell will be worrying others that may see capacitor technology being swallowed up and not shared, so I expect that a move will be made by someone fairly soon and that the institutions holding will be quite supportive of the right deal at the right price. I don't expect that price to be stunning, but probably north of where we are and maybe less than the 18p in the recent past., but then there might just be a fight over it, pushing it well beyond that expectation.

I very much doubt there will be a profits warning, there hasnt been a profit here so far, so maybe an increased loss, need to have a profit before you can have such a warning.

With the news that Tesla have taken Maxwell, CPX must be a prime takeover target. Given the recent patent breaches, this company probably needs to be taken by a larger organisation that's able to defend these patents, or rather that no one would dare breach them.
