This big drop today to me suggests that a placing is already being investigated. The Maxwell legal fees that we have to pay will exceed that credit line amount.

Perhaps we are about swallowed up by Maxwell for the cost of the legal fees. That will mean nothing for us shareholders, as usual. Another typical AIM market con.

I am expecting a highly dilutive placing here. Cash is short. If the market doesn't support the placing, then delisting is a very real prospect.

The AIM market has killed the value of this company, its done that with so many companies now, many have demister.

AIM is in terminal decline, its not a market for investors, many investors are looking elsewhere.

I am certainly not putting another penny into UK shares, there are only losses to be had, there is a far better return available from a bank account and its a lot safer.

Agreed, we are where we are today because we proceeded to take legal action. The costs have resulted in losses being posted, with resultant share price drops.

I have said before and say again, this company needs taken over by a larger player, that has the resources to adequately protect any IP we actually hold.

As it stands we are the kid in the sweetshop and the bullies can take what they want, without major repercussion.

Wobble, the decision to go for a Jury trial was taken long before Lars got involved here. It was always high risk and now proven to have been a stupid decision. You can't put a highly technical argument in front of lay men and women and expect them to understand it all.

This is why Maxwell fought, they didn't need to have a particularly good defence, just sufficient to convince people that had poor understanding of what was going on. I suspect much of it came down to which side had the most charismatic team, we know the answer to that now.

Someone is still selling large quantities regularly throughout the day, however there are buyers that are gobbling these up and seem to have an appetite for more.

I wonder if someone is closely watching the court case proceed and is confident from that to buy in, it's all in the public domain after all, if you go look. If that's the case then this seller will have lost out quite considerably, although the flip side could be the seller is the one watching the case. Basically we will have to wait, don't take anything for granted, anything can happen, good or bad.

The ex ceo was the technical brains behind this, him leaving was not a good thing, the company will suffer in the long term. He may personally hold or develop some patents himself.

Thanks A99. You would therefore assume that this is relevant and as such would be admissible to strengthen our case.

Do we know if the previous two wins were for exactly the same patent? If they are then there is legal precedence here, and despite the arguments the judge can step in and advise as a point of law, that these patents are already proven.

I don't know the answer to that, but presumably it must be different patents, or we wouldn't be in court now.

Thank you for posting that, very good stuff. This is not going to be an easy win for CPX, the onus is on them to prove their position. The problem is that this is going to be very technical and way beyond the Knowledge level of a jury that won't have any idea about this technology at all. A Jury trial like this was not a good idea.

This will be difficult to win, I expect the worst , but that is ujust my opinion.

It's hardly surprising that the response is poor. There are so many people working against these companies in the market, that it's killing the market dead. The behaviour has turned much of the market into a non investable place, I have skin in a few that's been in for a number of years, but I now have a policy if not investing in another penny into UK markets. For small investors there is nothing to be gained, the market is dying, companies are leaving because the behaviour of people trying to destroy reputations make it difficult to get investment. Better off being private, then you don't have to deal with all the crap that's working against you.

They will probably carry on selling, presumably at a loss as they have bought previously at higher prices than this. Further sales don't need an RNS as they are below the 3% notification now. Hopefully they will carry on offloading and we will get rid of them, this type of investor at this sort of level just causes chaos with the share price when they buy and sell. They are short termers, probably jumping into something more juicy with the cash, like the rest of us, had enough of this crap over past few months. Sure I speak for many here that I wish I had bailed out a long time ago.

Even if we win this, CPX will manage to screw up the compo and we will still be in the doldrums. I don't think the management are smart enough to pull anything decent off. They won't be looking for compo for the shareholders, this court case has killed the share price to a level well below where it ought to have been, the subsequent dilutions were much more severe because of that, but that will not be taken into consideration at all . We may get a few quid for lost Royalties, that will be about it and Maxwell will find a way of screwing us over and not paying.

We may win, but we won't win, if that makes sense.

Is this a record low for this. Seems there's a big sell off, looks like the Newlands from that previous RNS, but they must be selling at a loss.

Sadly this really has sunk given the prospects a few years ago.

People used to critcise AK, but he was the brains behind this, he may have been a poor at managing the company, but he was a top engineer, and this company always was about the world leading engineering.

I don't really see any prospects here now, the company has lost its way.

"Distressed seller" , that, potentially could be any one of the many that have been here for a very long time.

Whilst not wanting to dampen earls enthusiasm (which is what he does on other boards) we have seen it all here before, and have realistic expectations, which generally means further depreciation of the share price.

Spread is very large, which will make it difficult to identify which is which accurately, so errors creep in.

I paid 6p unfortunately, been a disaster this one, but will hold for better days. Fortunately my holding is not significant .

Wobble, you are beginning to sound like OS ..... not that I am disagreeing with you. I wonder if there is capacity in the factory to provide goods for these new salesmen to sell.
