I reckon they want to find out if their case has any chance of succeeding. The summary judgement will determine whether this goes to trial or they throw it in and try for a settlement with CPX.

Might find there's a placing on the way at around this price, hence the drop and lack of action. Cash is low and with the latest news its not going to be a placing at anything other than a bargain price for the buyers.

I wouldn't get too excited about this rise, someone offloaded a pile of shares, pushed the price down. Now that's obviously clear there is recovery , which in my opinion will be back to the 4p mark and it will hover until there is substantial news. Unless a fresh batch of sales commences or some bad news comes along.

This company needs bought out by a much bigger player. The reason everyone is ripping off the patents is that the company is viewed as a minnow that's not capable of fighting to defend its patents, hence why we are in the position we are now. Perhaps the company has had a very good response to breaches, that may have been unexpected by the likes of Maxwell, but the perception is still there that this IP is an easy steal and others will try in the future.
A much more respected owner with deeper pockets owning this company would scare abusers away.

It will get to a level at which someone may think it's worth a takeover attempt. How much it gets pushed up if that happens is open to debate.

It's punishment for the kicking they got over that aborted deal.

Likely be able to hold off and buy in the market for less than 7.5p if history is anything to go by. Certainly not participating , put enough into this blood sucking market.

Excuse me 3.14 but I wasn't moaning and I already said myself I could have sold out. My point was that todate the history is what it is and unless you want to rewrite it then it's a statement of fact.
I remain hopeful here, but I accept that it may not be a success for me. That said I been in this so long that I am certainly not leaping out then seeing it boom a month later. I am I this till I get what I want or its bust and I lose it all, simple as that.

I think the post from OS is very valid, whether we like it or not. Look at the history to date, it says it all and dare I add that a lot of what OS has said in the past has actually been seen in later share price behaviour.
I desperately hope this comes good, I have held here since 2011 and frankly seen it all, wish I had bailed on highs on a few occasions but held in the belief it would do better, which it never did. The trouble with CPX is that the bigger more powerful companies in this business see the minnow as an easy target to steal from, taking candy from a baby is a suitable phrase. Ultimately this company needs aborbed into a much bigger enterprise, so that others are less likely to try steal our IP
Hopefully any moves in the future will result in many of us having a very successful result, but that unfortunately is by no means guaranteed and the history here backs that up.

Sadly that's the market for you, it's not all the companies fault. The markets just destroy shareholders value and companies market cap. I sometimes wonder why a lot of listed companies bother with their listing as it usually ends up destroying the companies value. There are probably other ways for companies to raise money, the market destroys the share price and forces dilutions through larger share issues as the unit price is so low. Its a lot to do with the lack not interest too, the markets try to stimulate activity and they do it by dropping the price to make buying more attractive, but that just results in the above mentioned problems.

Sharing the info from a public briefing is hardly insider trading. That info has been publicly released and is in the public domain.

Everywhere around us in society prices are soaring, but not here, the usual aim decline.
AIM as an investible market has no future, its finished in the medium term I reckon.

I reckon that it means maxwell are denying foreign sales of the patent breach, and the CPX is submitting evidence of such sales into the court.

If they don't get on with it and get the accounts out then this will be delisted. There are deadlines that have to be met to meet the listing conditions. I think there's a 3 month extension on accounts because of covid, so generally I think we are in the clear until 31st March.

The reason I think a merger might be on the cards is that CPX are struggling to stop patent rip off, probably because a small company is seen as easy to steal from. I have thought for some time that we need to be joined with a much larger market player that others are less likely to challenge .

I doubt a direct takeover is in the cards, however something is afoot and I suspect its more to do with maxwell. Given Maxwell have a new owner as Tesla have sold, its possible new company might look to some type of merger with us, especially if they patents they need are ours and the compensation is big.
It's down to whether the current management team are happy to promote any such merger.

I dont really think the directors have much choice when they can sell shares. They get certain windows that are not "closed" for director share sells and this was one of them .
