What is the connection with Jean Phillipe Brunet to Novacyt. He used to be a senior research scientist at the Broad Institute in Massachusetts. Seems to be well connected to Novacyt scientists on LinkedIn.

When the news of the new LTIP was announced the other week numerous posters questioned whether the workforce got any sort of bonus. From this latest job advert it would appear there is a Company bonus scheme or Commission scheme in place .First time I've seen any mention of this in a job advert regarding staff other than sales people. They also mention you can receive £500 if you refer a friend who attains a job with the company.

Kaeren , I posted this link the other week relating to Biosynex and the self use antigen test they sell .At Christmas they appeared to be importing the components for this test from Asia and assembling the kits in France . However they mentioned that they would be launching their own test in February. So far there has been no update on this .

I've been following the chaos in the EU relating to the new IVD regulations which are due to come in this May. Basically any new tests and existing tests already on the market will have to comply with the new regulations. This means that tests already on the market will will have to be resubmitted and validated under the new rules. The big problem that has arisen is there are not enough notified bodies ( they guide companies through everything that is needed to successfully launch a test ) and there was a big danger that a lot of existing tests would have to be removed from the market in May as they wouldn't have been revalidated in time.
Later last year agreement was reached to extend this date and give companies more time to complete the required processes.
Emergo Europe are Novacyts notified body, but I can't find out who Biosynex use .

How can Boots know which test they can sell ? As far as I am aware all the lateral flow tests are under the ctda temporary approval which expires on the 28th of February. Have I missed some lateral flow tests that have actually received desktop validation?

Does anybody know who the notified body is for Biosynex?

Just to add to the discussion about the Vatel shares. The rns from 03/06/20 stated that the shares would be admitted to Aim and Euronext around 09/06/20. Under UK rules Vatel should have issued a TR1 for crossing the 3% threshold but it looks like they applied the french 5% rule with Novacyt being dual listed and didn't notify.

Looking at what info is available Biosynex don't appear to have a large r+d department. Instead they seem be to quick to do deals that give themselves access to tests and diagnostic devices. One such marketing deal was done with Credodx Biomedical relating to covid tests and their rapid Vita pcr device . This completes one test at a time in 20 minutes. From a validation report I saw it doesn't appear to be as accurate as the PROmate test format.

Interesting comment in the recent full year trading update where they state - The company is also reviewing the Lab 21 and Microgen businesses and considering the merits of maintaining multiple company entities/ names under the Novacyt Group umbrella versus a simplified business model and brand , which the director's believe could be more impactful. This would definitely help if you were going to market products through a foreign business partner. One thing I did notice was there is no mention of bringing It-Is-International into this simplified business model. Are they looking to keep It-Is as a separate business ?

No one could understand the strained atmosphere at the agm .Perhaps there was a very good reason for this.

I posted a link yesterday which contained a statement that Biosynex were looking for partner's in the POC testing market . Could Novacyt have been approached last summer around the time this article was published?

In this article they say- Everyone should be able to have access to diagnostic tests today. That really is our strategy and our mission. We aim to find partner's with new innovative technologies that allow us to bring diagnostic tests as close to the patient as possible.
