Back to Novacyt another new product ( Hiberplex) is just finishing it's 60 days in the trademark journal and should be registered in the next fortnight. The big question is when will these new products be unveiled.

Hi B2HS2L, I was just questioning the continued use of SA as both Novacyt SA Holdings and the french office were dissolved earlier in November. Then on the 26/11/2021 the name Novacyt was trademarked and successfully registered to Novacyt UK Holdings .

How's the Group clinical performance director at Novacyt? His LinkedIn page currently only shows connections to senior management at other companies.

Well said BYP, the original CDC test was developed in the early days of the pandemic specifically to identify the covid 19 virus, nothing else . Now there are a range of multiplex tests on the market globally , including Winterplex which can search for several viruses at the same time .Use of this type of test can safe a lot of lab time if there are several different respiratory pathogens in circulation at the same time .

Another link to an Indian company can be found with one of Guillermo Raimondo's likes on LinkedIn. Prior to joining Novacyt at the beginning of 2021 GR held the position of Executive Vice President of Global Marketing for Siemens Healthineers .Shortly after he left Siemens the Global Head of Commercial Sales Amit Sinha also moved on . It would appear that he has now set up a company in India called gosamplify.They are service that collects blood samples etc from patient's at their homes and then delivers them to the labs for analysis.From info on there website they have further expansion plans into other cities.

The contract to supply Samba devices and tests to the NHS was awarded early September 2020 and runs until January 2022 .I wonder if they've received prompt payment throughout the contract.

DRB83, I raised a similar question at the beginning of November when there was no mention of the LGC test in the list of products that had received temporary approval. This is the high throughput endpoint covid PCR test that is used at the Leamington Spa and Milton Keynes labs.
