I see there's a NHS community diagnostic hubs procurement framework being set up to source diagnostic services etc for these new hubs. Companies that get listed are provisionally on the framework for three years, with the possibility to extend for a further two years. Kaeren, back in November the UK health security agency placed an advert for more staff to participate in the validation of diagnostic tests. Interviews were supposed to be early December and successful applicants would start at the beginning of January.I did post at the time the powers that be had implemented a new test approval process without adequate infrastructure in place .

Originally It-Is-International had just unit's one ,three and four Wainstones. Then in September 2020 they took out a 12 month lease on Pulrose House and in December 2020 they added to this with a three year lease of MMC House. All these properties are on the same estate.
I did post this link relating to the firmware Engineer they are recruiting the other day, not sure if it got lost in all the noise. The wording is slightly different to the one on Novacyts .Seems there is plenty going on at It-Is.

We've posted on this board many times about the move from central laboratory testing to near patient testing in hospital settings.There has also been a move towards remote monitoring of patient's in their own homes , which has been accelerated by the covid pandemic. When transplant patients leave hospital they have to return at least twice a week to begin with for aftercare and diagnostic tests . Looking ahead to the future will it be possible to develop a miniature device that is simple to use in your own home to complete some of these type of tests and through wireless connectivity provide a hospital based clinician with rapid results.Just a thought.

Saintsmith, the final sentence on the caption with the video states -other indigenous and non indigenous kits are also being evaluated. The question is who are the manufacturer's of these kits?

Hi B2HS2L, Hiberplex finished it's 60 days in the trademark journal on January 4th and if there are no objections the name should be registered on the 21/01/22. This is another of the new products along with Imuplex that Novacyt have promised in 2022. Both these tests could be related to the transplant diagnostics market which Novacyt said they would be targeting.

Any manufacturer with a covid assay or lft permitted for sale in the UK is expected to notify the MHRA within two days if their product is effected by a variant.They should also have post market surveillance of their test/s in place. This is something Novacyt have been doing since the launch of their first covid test in early 2020.

B2HS2L, as far as I know any manufacturer with a permitted covid test on the UK market has to submit a monthly surveillance report to the MHRA.

I managed to find the job for a Firmware Engineer on the Total Jobs website . Slightly different wording to the one on the Novacyt site,worth reading.The job description also mentions experience with medical and lot devices .These can be devices that allow a patient to be monitored remotely.
