B2HS2L, I posted this link to CK Jobs a few weeks ago. They were recruiting a Regulatory Affairs Director for a diagnostics company who are breaking into the USA market. I know that Novacyt use CK Jobs for recruitment but can't prove it's Novacyt.

This short video was recently tweeted by a eminent NHS pathologist with regards to Sepsis and Antimicrobial Resistance. So much time is currently taken up by having to send the patient's blood sample to a laboratory for analysis. We know that Immune Express ( who Novacyt developed assays for)have recently received FDA clearance for their rapid sepsis test. Globally there is a very big market to move this blood sample analysis from the lab's to a near patient setting .Time and making the initial correct treatment decisions are critical to the final outcome for patient's. In South Africa the epicenter for the Omicron variant has been in the Gauteng province.If you click on Gauteng in this link it gives you the info for weekly hospital admissions in that province. Four week's ago 154 people were admitted to hospital in a week in this province .Three week's later this weekly admissions figure had risen to 2200, the latest week is incomplete at present. They report a total of 2560 people in hospital in the Gauteng province ,of which 226 are in ICU beds, 193 high care and 2143 in general care . I make that 16% percent of admissions that need high levels of care, and we keep getting told the virus is akin to a common cold now it has mutated again .

Kaeren, I take it that he is referring to the Eastleigh and Camberley sites and possibly the Stratford upon Avon and Blizzard clinical trials sites. Greater than 30 in-house and external ivd studies completed since he took on the role at the beginning of the year . That's a 50% increase from what was mentioned in the August investor presentation.
