In the recent presentation DA stated .that Novacyt had completed research with advisor's and secondary research with the World Health Organisation into how they support the emergence of viral vector borne disease in the developing world. They then added that they are developing an assay in relation to this.
Going of this it indicates that the initial contract that was mentioned in last week's rns could well be with the W.H.O .
The recent short video for the home use lateral flow test also had a caption part way through that listed tests for STI, Transplant and Vector borne diseases ,which are presently not in the Path flow range . At present the pipeline page on the Novacyt website shows some lateral flow non covid tests in the final stages of regulatory approval . Wether these relate to the above is anybody's guess.
