KT as far as I can see the German company Scott bought Applied Arrays last October with the aim to grow their presence in the US. As to whether Novacyt are still involved more research is needed.

Hi Kaeren, I found this link earlier , according to the info this biosensor is being developed to detect pesticide residues with help from gov funding. It should also be possible in the future to adapt it to detect biofluids.I could be several thousand miles wide of the mark , who knows.

In the half year update Novacyt said they had signed a deal with Clonit giving them immediate access to over 40 CE approved assays .Have the sales team started marketing these and what is their markup likely to be ? All these assays are also being validated for use on the q16 and q32 devices in a near patient setting with launch due to start in q1 2023. They have also sourced and validated an automated RNA extraction device, so that when used with Coprep they can offer a complete near patient testing package.

Hi B2HS2L, a quick search show's quite a few NHS lab's use the Roche 480. The lighthouse lab that use to be at Cambridge had nine of these.

B2HS2L, as far as know the Path flow tests are developed and manufactured by a third party with expertise in that field. There are a few companies that now have lateral flow tests for flu A, B and covid .

I'm surprised Novacyt have never mentioned any intentions of developing a combi lateral flow test for Covid 19, FluA and FluB.

Hi B2HS2L, it's worth having a look at the catalogue of tests that Clonit have access to now that they have bought Experteam . Besides pathogens tests they also develop genetic tests for hereditary diseases, which is a large rapidly growing market.
