Kaeren, in the contract there is a section on security of supply. This states that within a maximum of eight weeks from commencement of the contract (27/09/20) Novacyt had to receive confirmation as to whether the supply of more q devices for the optional contract was going to happen .If this wasn't going to happen Novacyt could then sell their q devices on the open market .From the taking over of It-Is-International mid October 2020 £5.8 million of inter company sales were made between Itis and Novacyt , which probably equates to between 600/700 units. Obviously a significant amount of sales to Novacyt will have taken place before the takeover of It-Is-International to service the start of the NHS contract and shouldn't be included in the above figures . What information was received by that eight week deadline?
