Didn't Novacyt already tell the market what they expected for fourth quarter revenue's. They set the bar so low even a snake couldn't slither underneath it.

While the DHSC dispute remains unresolved it does provide the perfect poison pill to deter any interested parties looking for a cheap takeover.

This link gives some info on what is involved in taking a medical device from the proof of concept stage to actual launch. From what Novacyt have told us they are developing multiplex tests using the Promate chemistry for respiratory and gastric infections. Hopefully the update at the end of the month will provide some info on how these are progressing and maybe the pipeline page on their website will be brought in line with where the development and regulatory approval is at .

Systemzero, you were posting the other day that you had just bought in when the price was at £1-30. Was that not you ?

P101, where are Biosynex getting these shares from that they are selling? You told this board last summer that they had sold out. Did they buy back in again or was that just another off the top of your head statements aimed to mislead shareholders.

Hopefully there will be an update later this month about how the validation work on all those Clonit assays has been going with the q16 and q32 devices. When the contract was announced at the end of September Novacyt had already validated the STI assays, so significant progress should have been made by now on the respiratory and gastric assays.
It looks like the two gastric test panels that were mentioned in the shareholder presentation could come from the Experteam product list.

Biosynex did the same when they reduced their holding as the share price spiked with the launch of the monkeypox test.

Hi Larry sorry the link didn't work .As a rule Morningstar update their page at the beginning of each month and seem more accurate than some sites. I was going of the fact that there was low levels of trading across the french and UK exchanges throughout December to mop up the shares without further depressing the sp .
Out of interest which site do you use for checking who the largest shareholders are?

Well one fund timed their exit perfectly to coincide with the market makers taking the brakes of the sp.

Hi Larry, thanks for the heads up with Microgen. If you look on the Eurofins website several of their UK food testing labs use Microgen products for testing , a good example of this is the Grimsby lab. These labs have recently received their yearly UKAS accreditation which lists the tests they use . From what info is available Eurofins did have a lab that tested Biopharma Products a short walk from Microgen Bioproducts in Camberley . This appears to have closed sometime this summer. It looks very much like some sort of deal was done with Novacyt to preserve the supply of tests that Eurofins labs are using. Possibly some of the staff from the Eurofins lab could have transferred to the Microgen site, just a thought.
At the end of the day this is completely at odds with the statement in the rns that said Lab21 and Microgen Bioproducts were discontinued and ceased trading at the end of June. It looks like another paragraph of info was missed out of the rns .
