I agree Arnold and everything augurs very well for 2021. I just can’t help thinking what the SP would be doing this afternoon if our name was on that contract.

I did read the detail Arnold, my point was more general in that they are ramping up testing, ‘ the demand for testing kits has been significantly higher than anticipated’ and as such should we have had a suitable test available, then there wouldn’t been no extensions for Innova and £200m of the tax payers hard earned would have heading to Wetherby not China.

Difficult not to view this award as a could’ve/should’ve been us. Having said that, plenty more where this came from for a superior sovereign test.

It takes time to write that list let alone deliver it. Perspective required here, the AVCT management are undertaking an unprecedented amount of R&D within compressed timeframes much of which is reliant on third parties.
It’s not unreasonable to expect delays and unforeseen problems and to therefore hold AS’s feet to the fire for lack of updates is unfair.

Would we prefer another ‘holding’ RNS or for Al to say nothing until he has something meaningful to say? He can’t win either way.

Time to step back, look at the scale of the ongoing opportunities, remind yourself of the incredible potential of Affimers, multiply this by the number of irons AVCT have in the metaphorical fire and relax.

Unless you need money for Christmas presents, hold tight as it is almost inconceivable that your shares will be worth £1.10 or less come spring.
