Agree with that Croqman however it was sentiment based on much flimsier foundations that saw the SP north of £2 on a couple of occasions.

A lot less sentiment required today as we now have significantly more information, yet the SP remains circa 15p above placement, makes no sense?

I suspect the Mologic test will be the Affy branded test and the sovereign test will be a ‘white labelled’ NHS test where AVCT may only be a component supplier. Two good models for global roll out.

My frustration with today’s news is that despite an RNS that both de-risks the investment and shows a clear path to revenue, we still have a SP significantly below where it was prior to ‘Vaccine news’ day.

If you add in all the other positive news from therapeutics etc, I’m beginning to wonder what exactly does the market require to at least get sentiment back to the house purchase price. ??

I would add that it only requires a modicum of common sense to deduce that it is almost inconceivable that a company with AVCTs scientific horsepower could fail to deliver a reagent with S&S that is at least equal to that of an off the shelf Chinese product.

Secondly and perhaps more tenuously, what makes us think that AVCT reagents are not being used by ODX ? If the ‘LinkedIn guy’ was genuine we may well be involved in today’s news after all.

Just reflecting, when the sovereign consortium test is launched, how will it be branded?

1. Avacta branded, promoting Affimer technology, world leading S&S etc. We own and supply the test and use the manufacturing partners at home and abroad effectively as third party suppliers.

2. ODX/BBI/Abingdon branded tests with AVCT essentially a key component supplier only ?

3. NHS branded test with no reference to AVCT or the manufacturing Co’s?

For me option 1 whilst good for awareness could be problematic if there are any issues with performance or supply.

Options 2 & 3 are great if we want to go down the road of licensing Affimers globally to LFT manufacturers, assuming our ability to produce Affimer’s is infinitely scaleable. However the licensing route offer us little brand protection should generic alternatives to Affimers are developed.

Other tips for newbies:

1. Ignore the derampers - usually turn up on weekday mornings, and repeat themselves over and over - keywords include, the house purchase, delays, lack of communication etc etc. Never have anything meaningful to add - don’t bite just leave them to DOH, PL, etc who are very good at dealing with them. Weekends are a good time to avoid the nonsense.

2. Other than Chiron other notable posters to look out for include, Leewill, Unprecedented, Monkhood, BenBenBen, Oakhurst plus several others

3. Arnold Palmer/Poundcake/Super Slinkey are the same person and along with Richob are the BBs Uber rampers, always a good antidote to the derampers. A honourable mention must go to AP for his ‘coffee’ put down to a notorious deramper from ODX, it was a classic and worth looking up.

4 if you are struggling with insomnia, look out for Wyndrum, he will get you off to sleep in no time.

5. The fact that you are reading this board suggests you have discovered the investment opportunity that is AVCT, as a consequence, you are one of of a relatively small number of people who realise what a life changing company this is, not only for us PIs but potentially for millions of others, congratulations.

At least now we know why that Twitter lad was working on an Avacta test ? Perhaps ODX have pivoted from trying to break into the US with their AB test to throw extra mfg capacity at the antigen collaboration?

Following your rationale Pigster would suggest that the combined news flow contributed to a SP increase of circa 30p ? Less, I would suggest, than had we been having a similar discussion prior to the release of the three respective RNS’s.

I appreciate that all of this is speculation but I was trying to get a feel for what we though the SP would become in the short term
