Then we had nothing left to do but repair,” an employee of the Oil and Gas Corporation told us on the spot.

We couldn't find any traces of Frontera in Samgori or Patardzeuli either – “There are both active and inactive wells here, but 'Frontera' is no longer there. They basically had deposits in Taribani, then they went bankrupt and fled, they left altogether…,” said a person working at the Patardzeuli deposit.

In addition to him, other employees also confirmed to us that another company is now operating on site, not “Frontera.”
