I’ve been looking at The Property Franchise Group and have written up a note on it.

My basic view is that it looks stronger and more resilient than the market may be giving it credit for, especially given the recurring nature of parts of the model. Key points for me were:

good recurring revenue characteristics within the franchise model

cash generation and the economics of the broader platform

potential for the market to be underestimating integration and growth opportunities

Interested in other views, especially around the housing-cycle sensitivity versus the quality of the underlying model.

I owned both Belvoir and TPFG when they announced the merger and was happy to see it was as amicable a merger as you could hope for. I really liked the previous Finance Director who seemed to know the business inside and out; every time I watched one of his presentations he had that ability to instill me with confidence that the business was plodding on earning great returns while also preparing for the future. I hope I'll get the same feeling after watching the relatively new FD and CEO Thursday, but so far so good. If they can figure out a way to keep growing the business through 2026 then I think this may well be a hold forever stock (if one actually exists). Today was a good day for me. TPFG had great results and I was also very happy with Fonix's performance who reported this morning as well.

Re presentations, I guess it shows where their priorities lie in terms of keeping the analysts happy. They probably think the analyst presentation will be too technical for us novice PI's - perhaps they'll be getting the "laser-focused" blurb! I'll be tuning in on Thursday at 1.30 to hear what they have to say. I'm a former BLV holder so only here due to the takeover but I've been very impressed so far - very similar to how BLV used to be managed. Combination of the two seems to have created a very strong entity with plenty of growth potential and now offering a 5% dividend too.
