#LEX has announced the appointment of Shango Solutions, one of South Africa’s leading geological consultancies, to undertake a comprehensive programme aimed at upgrading part of the Kroonstad Project’s historic independent estimate to JORC (2012) Exploration Target status.

This is a significant technical milestone that strengthens the foundations of what could become one of @LexGoldLtd most exciting assets.

Key Highlights

✅ Shango Solutions appointed to lead the programme.

✅ Objective to upgrade part of the existing independent non-code compliant estimate of 6.06Moz to 62.41Moz of gold at grades of 4.96g/t to 11.54g/t towards JORC Exploration Target status.

✅ Historical AngloGold Ashanti exploration data to be reviewed, validated and incorporated.

✅ Creation of a robust, auditable geological database.

✅ Development of a high-confidence 3D geological and structural model.

✅ Preparation of JORC-aligned technical reporting together with a proposed future drilling strategy.

✅ Approximately 16-week work programme now underway.

Why this matters

While the historic estimate cannot currently be reported as a JORC resource or exploration target, this programme is specifically designed to bridge that gap.

Independent geological validation, modern modelling and JORC-compliant reporting significantly enhance technical confidence and provide a much stronger platform for future exploration and drilling decisions.

Located within the world-renowned Witwatersrand Basin, Kroonstad is supported by an extensive historical dataset and has the potential to become an increasingly valuable part of Lexington Gold’s South African portfolio.

This announcement represents another important step in unlocking the long-term value of one of the company’s most prospective gold projects.

Interesting stuff, addresses legal case, the non existent dilution, mining license at Harmony JV , sale of USA assets and more. Worth a watch.

I bought some back a tad under 3p the day after I sold. They could have released both RNS’s on the same day. One now wonders if the US one was released early as it’s still a fair bit of work in progress albeit very positive.

Funny really, we had all the doomsayers this time last week suggesting that the 3 major non Creasy shareholders were diluted down and inferring that they were not interested anymore. Actually, one of them has reiterated that this absolutely is not the case by picking up around 2mn shares in the market when LEX got stupidly cheap last week. Actually, they originally held around 43% of the business when the USA assets were injected, now they are at a combined 37%, but since then, Creasy and co have come on board for around 19% of the company. Their so called "dilution" is simply a result of the arrival of Creasy, which indicates that their smaller stake is due solely to the arrival of one of the worlds best known and wealthiest private exploration people.

Hardly an issue. Great to see big shareholders keeping the faith!!!!
