A post from a well known Australian shares blog6 Jun 2026 10:34
I love the Australian bluntness regarding mining.
Its what they do best. It also removes our bias and Western view v more rounded world view I find you get when listening to mining execs from Oz.
For several years I was on the phone to Richard Keller - EMH main shareholder and his experience in gold mining going over to lithium plays that are / were waiting to be found. A solid guy who has been all over the world on mine visits.
I had this experience from 2015 through the ups and downs of the initial lithium early stage wave, made a lot £200k and lost a lot as a newbie, so I get people talking SXX and nany other early stage huge projects and promises of wealth beyond your dreams. I've lost £150,000 in one year.
Sobering.
That was 2020 and throw in covid so not all my fault but I take it and own it. I was correct in my original investment which got me up to being wealthy. My inexperience back then was experience for now. Once bitten twice shy 3 times and now I am long term ill and cannot now afford the risks.
I have held here for several years now. Not loads compared to EMH old days. I have always had faith in PA. The model is proven. 100% believe that time will bring me my wealth. I now still wait but feel well are within touching distance....no more covid events please. Nice quiet life in the world would be good.
Anyway I thought this blog post was full of clarity , commonsense and hope for ALK to be involved in the " doubling of lithium prices " in the next 18 months.
"Quick tangent for 20 seconds: We reckon the third battery metals wave is going to be dressed as “robot metals”
AI powered robots are basically walking, thinking electric vehicles, and we think every home, business and military unit is going to want a few.
BUT unlike electric vehicles, AI robots aren't fighting for mass adoption and market share against established petrol powered AI robots that already do the exact same job just fine…
AI Robots are a totally new item that we think everyone will want.
So the third wind for battery metals could be dressed as “Robot metals”
Both need the same core metals (lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper etc).
(we still have most of our lithium stocks… many of them have since become gold stocks, but the lithium projects are still there in the background, ready to re-appear when lithium doubles… along with the pitchdeck opening photo of an EV getting charged… or a robot."
Hope you enjoyed the read.
