Upgraded by Morningstar to Silver now. I've bought in and added over the past couple of weeks. Seems like a good buy and hold with strong management.

I haven't taken a position here yet, need to do more fundamental research into the company, management etc... However, the company looks good from a quick snapshot.

defensive outfit with canny Simon Edelsten at the helm, cultivating blue chip stars such as NG., Google, Mastercard etc. Miserly divi increase just announced, yet with net assets up to £91ml, an increase of 46% in just under 2 years, all looking good. Good luck all.

Bought into MWY largely on historic performance. In the new year I also bought CYN and BRSC in an effort to spread myself a little thinner for a retirement portfolio of buy and forget. NO SUCH LUCK of course. Is this a permanently lame duck or has it got a temporary bout of flu. The individual investments are not well known to me. Am holding on as an act of faith for the moment.

Mid -Wynd ,a little jewel in the Baillie -Gifford stable is beginning to motor. An excellently managed portfolio of first class international assets worth around £930p a share wasn't going to remain under £800p for long.
