M long
where do u get 5 percent from, i thoughtit was 9.1 percent div thanks
how does one assess risk of div cut in the future
Vod is doing an RR
Is there really a possibility of Vod going bust?
So a new long term low , I think we will see 70p now within the next week.
The CEO is the right person for the job IMO
Mehmehmeh
as Thatcher once said : 'You turn if you want to. The lady's not for turning!
CEO knows it is wrong to sell assets at market low prices ,right now, and so do their key investors
The markets are more worried about the ability of Central Banks and Government´s ability to kill inflation than they are with this CEO
A new all time low of 0.38 currently. Never been above 0.9 but normally double where we’re now.
Why are they still holding assets in australia they should sell it.
After x dividend date it may even fall below 20b market cap
MDV is wrong ceo. She doesnt even want to sell vodacom, spain, italy or anything. Just milking salary from company.
They need to announce intention to suspend dividend and break up company and give back to share holders whats left
" one wonders if the market is pricing in a sharp cut in the dividend."
the decision for the next dividend will come with the H1 results in November ....so... the market does not really need to be focusing on that, at present ...
The more pressing situation is the sentiment towards the performance in this quarter , with a Q1 Trading Update on July 27th
Current sentiment suggests continued tough economic background in its main trading areas during this Q1 ..with a CEO indicating clearly there is no quick fix
Vodafone to vodagone.
This junk is history. Just a matter of time before all the pieces fall together and the big investors cut their losses and dump the stock. That will trigger the end.
What a joke of a company.had the chance to ditch the old but chose to carry on as normal.
Just remind me what the Book value is for VOD?
Well well. 80p has been hit.
I’ll keep adding at these prices and collect 5% whilst I wait. Every uk bill has increased 14.4% since 1st April. Looks great value to me!
There is no stopping this terminal decline
$4.3b annual net profit for 2023. Market cap nearly $1t.
Vodafone annual net profit is similar. Revenue is nearly twice as much.
MVD is working to reduce the sp for a big player
Looks like we start tomorrow with a 0.5% deficit based on US price post our close. So no not hopeful we'll see green tomorrow
Where do people stand on a dividend cut or withdrawn?
The Vod sp is so low the 4.5 cents coming up is a great yield that one wonders if the market is pricing in a sharp cut in the dividend.
During the dot com boom up to 2001 nothing else mattered. They wouldn't buy any thing else. It seems this Invidia nonsense is much the same. Lots of AI related shares going up in America. Let's hope it doesn't go on for 2 or 3 years like last time. Because all the sensible shares sold off to buy tech last time. It was very irritating last time because i was in old economy shares and all they did was go down 👇.
Have you not seen the US price
It’s tanking hard
This finishes up tomorrow!
Della Valle conveyed the results in a style straight out of Nick Reed's playbook. When will these spreadsheet CEOs understand that what makes any great organisation is the people that work for it. Demoralising them is never the answer.
This has to be the worst outcome you’d expect after those results. The market is clearly underwhelmed by the new CEO
Further falls tomorrow sub 80 imo
Yeh last 2 days have been one's to forget, not sure we've seen the end of the slide. US will probably continue downwards which gives us a hill to climb in the morning. I was 10% up at one point 😢. Has a bad feeling on the slide before results day but thought it can't be that bad
An awful day for Vod glad there’s a halt here in the uk
Check over the us now for a continuation of the disaster that is Vod
